The hotel is in a good location central to everything. Otherwise it was disappointing. Elevator is slow and congested as it is shared with the residential building the hotel is in. Hotel is rundown and in need of maintenance. Rooms should be cleaner than they are and the common areas are filthy. Had to change rooms due to mold in the shower. Surprised this hotel is listed as a 4 star! Would not recommend.

Very clean, silently and the shower and bed are incredibly good. The staff is ok, the cleaning lady is very helpful. You can find a good spot to eat just 50m from the hotel - Eli Falafel. It is delicious!

The hotel's location is great, and the front desk staff were very welcoming and proactive in resolving issues, even upgrading our room! The room's decor has a distinct Shanghai flair, and overall, everything was excellent!

Great location, right next to People's Square Metro Station, just a 3-5 minute walk. The room decor has a classic Shanghai style, and there are cobblestone steps right outside the door. The air conditioning works wonderfully, the bathroom facilities are good, and the bed is large, especially the pillows, which are very comfortable. Drinks include two bottles of mineral water and two cans of soda.

Location, proximity to the bund and food choices are amazing but the vibe of the hotel, lift situation where heaps of delivery riders would have access to the rooms and randos and overall upkeep of the room and hotel is substandard. Would not recommend.
