Hanting Hotel (Shanghai Songjiang New Bridge)

Lovely, clean, fresh, modern hotel, with good size rooms and good facilities. A good size customer laundry with 3 modern washing machines and dryers, which are excellent for the frequent business traveller such as myself. The location of the hotel is very good, with many good restaurants and shops nearby. The staff are helpful and efficient, and patient to help a foreign visitor such as myself The only problem I found with this hotel is due to the male customers smoking inside the hotel, and that the hotel staff do not address this problem, even though it is a non-smoking hotel. Customers will smoke in the lobby, right in front of the staff, but nothing is said to stop this. Customers will smoke in the lift, which when busy is disgusting and suffocating, and they will smoke in the hotel corridors and rooms - Smoking is prohibited in public places in China, yet the staff at the hotel ignore it, which is very disappointing. I am considering contacting the authorities and reporting the hotel
