I have to give a perfect score to Nicole, the front desk attendant at the Pudong Airport hotel! Her service attitude was absolutely wonderful – warm, polite, and she had a genuinely kind smile throughout. The check-in and check-out process was incredibly fast and professional, with no delays whatsoever. Since I was staying with my 17-year-old daughter, they even provided a complimentary extra breakfast and a rollaway bed. Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Pudong Airport is an excellent choice for travelers with early morning flights or late-night layovers. Its biggest advantage is its prime location, situated right between Terminals 1 and 2. It's just about a ten-minute walk directly to the departure hall, completely eliminating the hassle and uncertainty of shuttle buses. As an InterContinental Hotels Group brand, the hotel boasts relatively new facilities. The rooms are spacious and tidy, and the soundproofing is exceptional, ensuring a high-quality sleep despite being in a busy airport environment. While the price might be slightly higher than some budget hotels nearby, its extreme convenience and comfortable stay make it incredibly good value for money. The breakfast is quite extensive and, overall, even surpasses the standards of some InterContinental flagship hotels in other cities.

This airport hotel has a fantastic environment, and I found the soundproofing to be excellent. My child loved it, and Nicole at the front desk was incredibly friendly and proactive. Check-in was smooth, and the service experience was great.

I stayed here the night before my early morning flight. As soon as I got out of the car, a staff member immediately offered to help with my luggage. During check-in, they even gave a small gift to my child, which was a nice touch. I was initially worried about noise since it's right next to the airport, but it was generally okay. I only heard faint airplane sounds; I had a bit of trouble falling asleep at first, but earplugs solved that. The soundproofing of the room door wasn't great though, I could clearly hear people talking outside. The room facilities were all new: electric curtains, a Laifen hairdryer, an automatic toilet, and the mattress was just right – neither too soft nor too hard. There was also a small round table with a lift function, which was a great feature. In the morning, it took about 11 minutes to walk from the front desk to Pudong Airport T2, and the entire walk was indoors, which was super convenient. I'd definitely consider staying here again.

This hotel is perfect for layovers, I highly recommend it to anyone catching a flight! Its location between Pudong Airport Terminals T2 and T1 is unbeatable – no need to trek outside. The facilities are excellent, and a huge plus is being able to wheel the luggage cart all the way to the room. This made check-out and baggage drop-off much easier the next day. The room was meticulously clean, with spotless bedding and bathroom, and no strange odors. I expected noise given its proximity to the airport, but the soundproofing was fantastic; it was a peaceful oasis, allowing for a truly restful night's sleep. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout. They proactively offered a welcome drink and a sleep mask at check-in, showing great attention to detail. I was also able to arrange a late check-out, which meant no rushing to pack. Overall, it was comfortable and convenient – the best choice for a transit stop, and definitely worth rebooking!

The hotel is right inside the airport, which is super convenient. Plus, you can use their trolleys all the way into the terminal, which is a huge plus! The front desk service was excellent; they even upgraded my room. I had a great stay and will definitely choose to stay here again next time.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff were warm and attentive. It's very close to the terminal, making it super convenient for walking, especially if you have an early morning transfer. It's perfect for families with seniors and children, as you can walk indoors all the way to the airport terminal from 9 AM, so bad weather isn't an issue at all.

This hotel is super convenient, located right between T1 and T2. After arriving by regional train, just take exit 4 and the hotel entrance is directly across the street. It's perfect for anyone who likes to take it easy, as there's no rush to get to the terminal – you can just take your time. Plus, the food at the hotel restaurant is really delicious.

The hotel is very new. I chose it because I had an early morning flight from Shanghai Pudong Airport the next day. The price was pretty standard, and the room was very quiet. There was barely any noise from the hallway either.
