The Longemont Shanghai

Definitely a great stay! The room was spacious and the facilities were spotless. For just about 100 RMB more than a budget hotel, you get a five-star experience. The breakfast was also excellent. I was so impressed after one night that I immediately booked two more nights for June.

My go-to hotel in Shanghai. The transportation is quite convenient, with elevated roads right next to the hotel and dedicated bus lanes, so it's very easy to hail a taxi. Manager Xiao Yin at the front desk is diligent and polite to guests, which is great.

The hotel's location is quite good, offering great views from above. The room is spacious, and the staff are professional, attentive, and very considerate. What era is this that they're still using such vulgar and incredibly rundown decorations? After working out at the gym tonight, I was going from the 26th floor back to the 28th floor, but the elevator wouldn't open at 28. I tried twice, and then it started plummeting rapidly. I pressed all the buttons I could, and it finally stopped at the 6th floor. I quickly got out to switch elevators, but the same one came back. I didn't dare get in again and waited for another elevator to go back to my room. I was really scared.

My stay in this room was fantastic! The room was clean and tidy, with elegant decor and comfortable bedding that ensured a great night's sleep. The natural light and ventilation were excellent, and the view from the window was lovely. The room amenities were complete, and the toiletries were of high quality. The staff were responsive and friendly, and I truly felt their attentive care. The overall atmosphere was cozy, making me feel right at home. It's an ideal choice for business travelers.

A hotel that you pay for, only to be woken up every day before you're ready 🏨; I pressed 'Do Not Disturb' every day, but someone still came to knock and ring the doorbell at 8:00 AM daily.

Service: I was very satisfied with the service. Both the front desk staff and the housekeeping aunties were quick, efficient, and enthusiastic. Environment: The location is quite convenient. It's very easy to get to the nearby Longzhimeng (Dragon's Dream) shopping mall, and also very convenient to visit the Columbia Circle. It's a great area for a walk with kids. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was very good. Facilities: The facilities are a bit old. For example, the landline phone's volume is very low, making it hard to hear calls clearly. Also, the room was quite warm. I took a look at the gym and the pool seemed really nice; I'm planning to try it next time. Later, I discovered there's a Renaissance hotel right inside the Longzhimeng mall, which would be even more convenient. However, after checking reviews on Xiaohongshu, the feedback on service, safety, and environment for that one wasn't ideal, so I still chose Longzhimeng Hotel for my second stay.

The hotel service was excellent, and we received a free upgrade to a business suite. The kids had a blast! It was super convenient to shop and dine nearby. Plus, you can actually see the Oriental Pearl Tower from the hotel room. Getting around with Didi was also very easy.
