Checking in and out was fast. Service was great and we arrived at 11am and got a room for check in. Location was near to convenience store which is just 5 mintues walk. Train station was nearby too.

Hotel is near a train station and near to Yu Garden. Inside of the toilet seems a bit worn, but room was a good size for 2 adults and 2 children. The view was great. Overall, satisfied with the room and will come back again if there is a chance.

Thanks Barbara for the good services! She is very friendly and helpful! It super near the metro and Yuyuan Garden. It also one metro stop to East Nanjing! My children love the bath tub too! Overall enjoy my 5 nights stay with great view (able to see the Pearl tower)!

Hotel is superb easy to find as it located right opposite Yu garden station. Great service provided and the room is spacious for us a family of 4. Very near Yu Garden and lots of shopping nearby. Highly recommended and would love to stay again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Renaissance Yu Garden Shanghai, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the front staff (Ellen Wang) went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The luxurious accommodations, coupled with exceptional service, made my stay truly memorable. The hotel’s prime location close to Yu Garden and Metro Station made exploring the city a breeze, and my kids really love the spacious room. Highly recommended for kids and families.

Great location just 3 min walk from the train station and 5 min walk to Yu Garden. Hotel was clean and large. Bathroom floor was slippery though so take note. The hotel turned on central heater but it was too warm unfortunately. However, they sent over an air cooler very soon just that we had to sleep with the noisy fan. Room service was sometimes answered by AI and sometimes real person. Overall a great place to stay!

Amazing location with subway entrance opposite the hotel. Room was great. Clean and spacious. Thanks the hotel staff (Yvonne) for getting us a room on the 19th floor with great view. She had been very patient and provided us with some good tips and assistance.

A special thanks to Barbara and all the other staff members. She made our trip more comfortable and enjoyable by offering an upgrade to our room, an extra bed, and discounts on breakfast. I was particularly impressed by her fluent English communication and her kind guidance. It was my first trip to China, and I had such a wonderful and happy time with my mom and aunt. See you again next time! This hotel is excellent in both its location and facilities. Highly recommended 👍

Service is fantastic in this hotel. The manager/ staff at the counter let me use her own hp number to book a restaurant as they need a China number. Very helpful with directions and advice too. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean and you can ask for more drinking water if you need. Service at the restaurant was great too. There are also vending machines where you can buy snacks etc

The hotel has a fantastic view and an excellent location, which made my stay enjoyable. The room was spacious and well-maintained, and the staff (Quinn) were friendly and attentive. However, one area for improvement is ensuring that non-smoking rooms are free from smoke odors. My room had a slight smoke smell, which was a bit disappointing. Aside from that, the overall experience was pleasant.

First time taking family with small kid to Shanghai. We got upgraded to the high level and nice view of the bund. I was impressed to this hotel and service from the staffs. The location is One of the best which easy Access to Metro Station and Main attraction like yu Garden there were many local Restaurants Around The Hotel that open late. The Breakfast was brilliant.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The position was FANTASTIC near the Yu Gardens and opposite the metro station. The amenities were fabulous. The kids LOVED the pool and so did I with its fabulous bund views. Our room was just PERFECT, the VIEWs were AMAZING and the pillows were the comfiest I’ve ever slept on. We loved the rooftop restaurant the views and food were GREAT. We can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Renaissance Yu Garden for having us.
