Excellent location on Nanjing East Road Close to metro exit 1& 4 I still can't locate the elevator on metro exit 🥲 I use Didi and bicycle most of the time Lobby on the 2nd floor Walkable to The Bund Clean & comfortable rooms Got the corner room _ big room Got free mini bar deal with beer and sodas Free ice delivery to room Bed is very comfy Bathtub in the room 🥰 Great breakfast _ wide variety Good noodles and bakery Friendly staff Fitness area is outdated Lawson just below the hotel Public bicycle at the corner

Location is center of Nanjing road where we can walk to Metro and find the food easily. I got the room at 11th floor which view is blocked with other building. It’s better to ask higher floor.

I booked a 4-night stay, but my experience was far from what I expected, especially given my positive experiences with the hotel in the past. On the second night, I returned to my room at 11 PM to find it flooded due to water leaking through cracks in the window. Housekeeping had placed towels and bedsheets near the leakage area and left a dirty bucket next to a chair by the window. When I went to the front desk to report the issue, the receptionist merely apologized and informed me that no spare rooms were available. I explained that I was a paying guest and had not caused the issue, but he seemed unwilling to take responsibility until I insisted he involve his manager. The housekeeping manager was apologetic and explained that the leakage was caused by a severe thunderstorm earlier in the day. She promptly arranged for a clean room for me, acknowledging that I deserved a peaceful place to rest after a long day. However, despite her professionalism, I never received a follow-up or an apology from the front desk or management during my stay or at checkout. Additionally, some of my belongings were damaged by the water. his experience has been incredibly disappointing, particularly because I have enjoyed staying at this hotel in the past. The unprofessional response from the front desk has left me with no choice but to decide not to stay here again in the future. I also cannot recommend this hotel to friends or colleagues. I hope this feedback helps the hotel address its service gaps and prevent such incidents from recurring. Direct access to Nanjing road is super nice. The amenities were lacking a bit... Breakfast was solid. Hyland lounge had a good view of the Oriental pearl

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ The location is excellent, right on Nanjing East Road, with easy access to the metro, The Bund, restaurants, and shopping. It made getting around Shanghai very convenient. The only downside is that the hotel is quite expensive, but the location is definitely its biggest advantage.
