Nice hotel, clean and excellent service. The only thing I don't like is the elevator. The elevator is kind of small.

My family was very satisfied with this booking. The transportation was convenient, and there were attractions all around. The room layout was well-designed, and the decor was exquisite. What was surprising was being able to see the Oriental Pearl Tower from the window. We'll definitely book again next time!

The hotel and room renovations are beautifully designed. They perfectly balance a tribute to history and tradition with modern aesthetics and convenience, evident in the materials, colors, and style. The attention to detail is impressive. I feel very lucky to have chosen this hotel and room type. I even looked it up and found out it's an award-winning design, which explains a lot! Highly recommended. The service was already quite good, including the breakfast which many mention – I found it sufficiently varied and tasty. If there's one area for continued improvement, it would be service. The cleanliness and trash removal frequency in the first-floor restrooms could be increased. Also, if the front desk staff wore shirts or suits, similar to international hotels, rather than their current uniforms, it would project a more upscale image.

I love the hotel. Friendly staff. Easy to communicate. The staff can speak English. Lawson and family mart very near aswell. The restaurant near the hotel is delicious aswell. Walk further you can find selling cheap clothes the wholesale clothing. I stay there again every time we go back shanghai.

The most important feature of of this hotel is its location, on a walking distance from the Bund and its attractions. Also, it’s an historical building, nice and well preserved. Could be modernised respecting it’s essence. Rooms are comfortable, breakfast is just so so. What surprised me in a hotel with so many foreigners is that most of the young staff doesn’t speak English. But in all it was a very good stay and I recommend it for a short stay.

We stayed 4 nights. They cleaned our room every day. Beautiful view from room. Staff is friendly and helpful. Walked about 10-15 mins to the bund and Nanjing Road Shopping Street

Great location, walking distance to postal museum which is basically right in front, to suzhou creek and the bund without the crowd of nanjing east road pedestrian street
