Novotel Hotel Shanghai Pudong by Accor (Free shuttle bus）

The room was clean and tidy, and it's quite close to Disneyland. They even offer a free shuttle service, which is a big plus. My daughter and I stayed there, and the room was pretty quiet. The only minor downside was that the breakfast selection was a bit limited.

The breakfast and late-night snacks were both excellent, and the shuttle driver was very friendly. The bedding was so comfortable. For a trip to Disney, this hotel is just too good and convenient! 👍 They even had freshly made sushi rolls at breakfast, which were delicious with fragrant vinegared rice.

Upon checking in, I found a hair and a dirty mark on the comforter. I called the front desk to request a new one, but they only brought an extra blanket, not a replacement comforter. I went down to the front desk again, and the staff there were quite polite and said they'd send a housekeeper to clean and replace it. However, the hotel's execution was poor; no housekeeper ever came, and the comforter was never replaced.

The hotel has a minimalist Japanese style, with a clean and atmospheric environment. The staff are very friendly, warm, and thoughtful. They offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport on the hour, which is super convenient for catching flights – a big plus! However, staying for four consecutive days, the breakfast selection was incredibly monotonous and never changed. It got really boring after a while. The late-night snack options were also very limited, with only noodles and congee available – far too few choices. Furthermore, during my stay, I noticed that the indoor air felt stuffy and poorly ventilated, always with a stale odor. My room was close to the road, so opening the window meant car noise, but closing it made the room stuffy and smelly, which significantly reduced my comfort. On a positive note, they thoughtfully gave me a small souvenir when I checked out, which was a lovely touch. Overall, the service and airport shuttle were good, but the stay would be much better if they could improve the breakfast variety, add more late-night snack options, enhance room ventilation and soundproofing, and eliminate the stale indoor smell.

I've stayed here multiple times, and it's consistently great. The bedding is comfortable, the facilities are complete, and the rooms are quiet. The breakfast spread is excellent, and the airport shuttle service is convenient. The staff provides attentive service.

Stayed here for our Disney trip, and it was decent value for money. Getting to Disney by taxi takes over 10 minutes and costs around 30-40 yuan via ride-hailing apps. The hotel also has a shuttle at 7:20 AM and 10:30 PM, but with kids, the shuttle schedule wasn't really suitable for us. The room itself was quite spacious and clean. The hotel breakfast didn't offer much variety, but the beef noodles with braised beef topping were the best part! Everything else was pretty mediocre. Surprisingly, there was no plain congee! The steamed buns also tasted like pre-made, factory food.

I participated in a Danube River cruise from April 1st to April 13th and chose Novotel Shanghai Pudong Kangqiao for two nights, on March 31st and April 13th. The hotel has two major advantages. First, the airport shuttle service is very convenient. After landing, I just called the front desk, picked up my luggage, and went to the designated spot where the driver was waiting. Both times, I was the only passenger. For departures, I simply registered at the front desk, and the shuttle left punctually. Second, the food is great. They serve a late-night snack at 9 PM every evening. Last night, I had rice noodles, which perfectly satisfied my 'Chinese stomach' after returning from abroad. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of freshly baked bread and pastries, Japanese sushi, and made-to-order noodles, rice noodles, and wontons. On top of that, the front desk upgraded me to a king-size bed room on the 19th floor.
