Pros:
Excellent location, right next to Xinzha station on Line 2.
Smart rooms were a nice touch, with some amenities (e.g. curtains, TV) controllable by voice via 小度在家 (XiaoDuZaiJia Smart Display). Room is also equipped with smart toilet.
Bathtub is spacious, and water pressure in the shower is strong.
Mixed:
The 2 washing machines and 2 dryers seem to be overused for a relatively new hotel. There was often a crowd, and at times, piles of unwashed clothes left in the laundry room. Guests would remove other guests' laundry from the washers and dryers as soon as they finished.
The parcel management system could be more efficient. While I appreciate that the hotel helps receive parcels and take-out, the receptionists often took a long time to locate packages, even if they had just arrived. Unlike some other hotels, the staff doesn’t automatically deliver take-out via the robot, although you can request.
Cons:
Staff were mostly friendly and helpful, but the biggest issue we encountered was on the last night when cigarette smoke smell started coming into our room. Despite closing the windows, the smell unexpectedly worsened. When my husband returned to the room after being out for a while, he also noticed the strong smell compared to the air outside the room. We contacted the front desk via WeChat, and a staff member came to inspect the room. He claimed not to smell cigarettes but mentioned that his nose might still be blocked from being sick. When asked for an air purifier, we were told they used to have them but not anymore, and that the 快递 (courier) had not arrived. The staff offered to move us to another room the next day if one became available, but we were checking out in the morning (and also highly doubt that the hotel was at full occupancy). When asked if the neighbouring rooms were smoking rooms, the staff said they would not know whether guests smoked in them. This was annoying since we were traveling with an infant and had specifically booked a non-smoking room. The staff only offered a diffuser to mask the smell, which does not address the real issue...
All in all, despite having an otherwise pleasant stay, I cannot recommend this hotel, especially with many other hotels in Shanghai and new ones popping up all the time.

It's about a 20-minute drive from Hongqiao Railway Station. Taxi is not expensive. A shuttle bus to Hongqiao T2 is provided and departs on time. The front desk is friendly and patient in providing service.

This hotel is great! For this price in Shanghai, it offers excellent value for money as a place to stay. The rooms are spacious, and there's a coffee shop downstairs, making it very convenient for meeting friends. It's about a 10-minute walk from the subway station, and there's a really good Lanzhou Lamian restaurant right across the street.
The facilities are very smart and excellent. It's very convenient for traveling with children. The surrounding subway and taxis are all easily accessible. The staff are very welcoming, and the hygiene is good. It offers great value for money.

Good location. Close to underground/subway. Clean hotel and room was refurbished. However the room had holes in the wall as a window… the makeshift window was broken and let in street noise. There was also a lot of racket at 5/6am that disturbed my sleep. Don’t expect much for Breakfast as it is mildly warm McDonald’s breakfast

Service: The service is very good, and the front desk can also help to cool the small cakes.
Hygiene: The hygiene is also good, and some small corners can be wiped more carefully.
Facilities: The voice assistant is super sensitive, with a 0-second response delay. I feel that the technology can be opened to voice assistants on the market hahahaha

The room was incredibly neat and clean. The service was excellent, and they even gave us a small gift. All the amenities and supplies were very complete. The location is super convenient, making transportation easy right outside the door. The staff were very enthusiastic, always greeted us with a smile, which made our stay very comfortable.

I want to share my experience to help future guests make an informed decision.
In the first room I was given, while trying to sleep at night, there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. The windows were cracked and not well sealed, which allowed smoke from outside to enter the room. Mind you that this was around 11pm when we wanted to sleep early, when there’s people 3 floors down by the roadside just casually smoking. When I contacted the front desk, the initial response was to spray air freshener. Only after I pointed out that this wouldn’t address the source of the issue was I offered a room change.
In the second room, I encountered a different issue: the shower water was not draining properly, causing it to overflow into the toilet area. The toilet section did not have a dedicated floor drain, so the water spread out toward the walkway. After reporting this, the hotel did send a plumber to fix the drainage, which I appreciated, though it was still an inconvenience during the stay.
Based on these experiences, the hotel may need to improve window sealing, smoke control, and bathroom drainage. Travelers sensitive to smoke or who expect consistent room maintenance may want to take these points into account before booking.

The hotel boasts a prime location, just an 8-minute walk from Yu Garden Metro Station. Right next door, there's a fantastic Lanzhou Lamian restaurant with delicious food – the Roujiamo (Chinese burger) is an absolute must-try! Plenty of other small eateries and a pharmacy are also just a few minutes' walk away, making it incredibly convenient. I stayed in room 305. The elevator requires a key card for access, which is a great security feature. My room was spotlessly clean, compact yet thoughtfully designed, featuring a modern wet/dry bathroom separation and a sensor toilet. The shower pressure was excellent. The only drawback was that all rooms face the street, leading to some noticeable street noise at night. However, the staff promptly provided earplugs, which made a significant difference.
I basically always book this hotel whenever I come to Shanghai; it's convenient for getting everywhere! The room is a bit small, but it's sufficient.
Hygiene: The room was very clean, and the sheets and duvet covers were spotless.
Facilities: The facilities are quite comprehensive, and it's fairly smart. I was pleasantly surprised to find a mini-fridge with complimentary drinks, which is a great touch!
Environment: The environment is pretty good.
Service: The front desk service was average, but the housekeeping staff were very good!

Outstanding
QQinganFacilities: Well-equipped.
Service: Excellent.
Cleanliness: Excellent, with all essential toiletries provided.
Ambiance: Good overall, but the soundproofing seemed average. I could faintly hear the TV, music, and even singing from the adjacent room, which was a minor distraction. Aside from that, everything else was fine. On a separate note, our room happened to overlook a construction site (a slight inconvenience). Thankfully, the windows were very well soundproofed; closing them completely blocked out the noise.
GGuest UserThe room was small but had everything you need, except for the lack of shower slippers.
Aside from the poor soundproofing, everything else was fine. The robot delivery service was very convenient.
As for cleanliness, it seems they have a maid come every afternoon. If this bothers you, you might want to let the front desk know in advance. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

AAnonymous UserPros- The room is quite new, modern, the hotel is clean, the bed is soft and comfortable, the air conditioner is cold, the bathroom is divided into wet and dry zones, there is soap-shampoo-toothpaste-body lotion, there is a hair dryer, free bottled water
The staff is very good and helpful
Cons- The hotel is far from the hotel, the distance is more than a kilometer, but it is very difficult to travel. In case of walking, unless you call a taxi (14 yen per round)
Which is not recommended for people who come alone because it is a waste of money, it is difficult to walk back and find the hotel.

Aarsalan.nedian2024The hotel location is good and about 10 minutes walk from nearest Subway station (Shanghai University of Finance and Economics station). The room which I selected was Smart Leisure Double Bedroom. It was spacious and the washroom was also good. Hotel staff was also friendly. Only thing which I want to say is that the sound proofing of the room is not good. If someone is talking loudly or watching TV next to your room, voices can be heard.
Overall, the hotel is good as per price and location.
RRathsThis hotel is in a really good spot with lots of nice restaurants nearby, especially to the right when you leave. It was clean, and the bed was comfy. But, the building is old, so things like the furniture looked older than the pictures. Poor soundproof. Still, for the price, it's not bad, and I'd stay here again.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is easy to find, though I felt there weren't many dining options nearby. It's an 8-minute walk to the subway station, which can feel a bit longer if you hit a red light. The front desk can help with printing, and there are complimentary snacks and a delivery robot for takeaways. The room's cleanliness and overall accommodation were absolutely fine. Thumbs up!
AAnonymous UserThe room was okay, with a smart toilet, Xiaodu, and a refrigerator. The cleaning lady was very welcoming and asked if our room needed cleaning whenever we left. The restaurant is at the bottom of the first floor, and there's no sign to walk from one end of the hallway to the other. It took us a while to find it. The restaurant is small, and the breakfast options aren't very varied. But overall, it's good. The value for money is good. The hotel is a 13-minute walk from the nearest subway station, and taxis are hard to get there. I think the subway is slightly more convenient.
CChan Bin ChuanThe location is really convenient! So near to the MRT.
The rooms are also clean and well maintained.
The receptionist, Ms Wu (wear glasses),was so helpful. On the day we checked out and needed a cab to the high speed railway station, she helped to book a cab on our behalf. The cab driver who took the job was abit rude towards her as there were some errors in the booking details. However, Ms Wu was very professional and resolved the issue without a fuss. Great professional service!!
