Shangri-La Banxia Time Homestay (Dukezong Ancient City Branch)

We loved everything about our stay here! Worth mentioning for: - they offer pickup and drop off from the train station; they even checked our arrival time earlier - the service is warm and hospitable — the owners didn’t even let us carry our own bags - as soon as we got there, the owners explained everything to us (they have washing machine/dryer, they even let us know where the mineral waters are in case what’s in the room is not enough, and they saw us wearing not super thick jackets so they mentioned they have extra puffers downstairs) and even offered to check in case we need to check about our travel plan - the owners are very responsive via wechat - the room is SPACIOUS; the heated floor makes it so much better - most importantly, they have smart toilet (trust me, you will need the warm seat and hot water in Shangrila 🤣) - the location is also superb, right in the middle of the ancient city. It’s like 5 minutes away from Guishan Park and 20 minutes away from Napa Lake (or Heidou Cafe) - there are halal eateries nearby Thing(s) to consider but not a dealbreaker for us: - there are stairs to get to the room, so might not be suitable if you’re traveling with elderly or have knee problems (but they’re normal stairs, not steep stairs) It was such a great experience for us 💓

It was a very pleasant stay. The room is clean and spacious with enough room for our luggage. The hotel manager is kind & always available to help with my request within his abilities. Super grateful that the hotel provides us with train station drop-off on my check-out day. The hotel is located near halal restaurant for muslim & also a few minutes walk to Dukezong Ancient Town.

Very kindness lady boss, business conducted by family, upgraded us from triple room to 4 persons room during our check in. Also,very good service that sent us to train station. Recommended, great location and convenient which near to restaurant, convenient shop. 😍

Location is strategic , in the ancient city,cozy and comfortable . We love the heated floor and bed.

Very recommended stay to all. Owner very helpful and friendly. They even offered free pick up and drop off service at the train station. Beside, the owner introduce me with an agent to book my Balagezong tickets on the next day through WeChat. The location also very strategic as near & walkable to Guishan park & Dukezong ancient city. Last but not least, they also provide floor & mattress heater and also oxygen machine in the room. And yaaaa, the toilet has automatic bidet!!!!!! These really helped me a lots during the 3D2N stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
