Once we changed to the Mountain View room it was amazing. The best view to wake up to. It was clean, very new and has everything you need. Good stay during the 2 day tiger leaping gorge hike, it is near Tea Horse hostel that is advertised everywhere. It felt so new, almost unfinished in a way, but the room was great. Breakfast was good (noodle soup, not Western) and easy to get vegetarian.

If you're looking for an awesome place to stay at the Tiger Leaping Gorge, I will highly recommend this place. It's couple of minutes walk from the very busy sea-horse inn, but this place offers the calm and peaceful environment you need to enjoy the impressive mountain cliffs. We drove there from Lijiang, and the owner met us at the foot of the mountain in his car to guide through the twisty narrow road to the inn. After checking in , we left our vehicle at the inn, and the owner drove us in his car to the start of our hiking path at the Naxi Guesthouse. The following day, we continued our hike to Teacher Zhang's coffee shop (6 -7h hike from the inn). The owner then sent us our vehicle there free of charge. At this inn, there's a nice swing overlooking the valley you can sit on to enjoy the view after a long day of hike, or you can go up on the viewing terrace. You can order homemade breakfast, and dinner from this place.

Excellent location next to Tea Horse Guest House and 5min walk from High Trail that passes through tea horse guest house.
Room has perfect view of Mountains and Corn fields from neighbouring farms.
Service is Homestay style but they are very supportive and always responsive via WeChat link found in the room. Mandarin is the main language. But the Host tells me they have succeeded communicating using translation apps 😁
We spent days 1 walking the reverse direction and turned back before the 29 bends and 2nd day completed the walk all the way to Tina’s by 4pm.
For me I think the best thing about this place is that it is still in the midst of farms and not surrounded by hotels in construction. So nice to greet the neighbour grandma with her farm tools as she walked off into the hills to harvest stuff.

Had a great stay at this property!! The boss was extremely helpful and provided excellent service throughout our stay and settled our luggage as we did our hike. The view of the mountains was fantastic from the balcony. He is also an excellent cook as well! we ordered dinner, had 3 dishes and it was probably the best meal we had for our entire trip!
