MuKa Pastoral Manor (Shangri-La Napa Lake Branch)

Exceptional stay with incredible hospitality! 🤩 This was easily one of the highlights of our trip! The hotel is located within the Napa Hai region, about 10 minutes from the train station and around 20 minutes from the ancient town, so it was a very convenient location for exploring the area. From the moment we arrived, we felt so well taken care of by the entire team. They provided a complimentary ride from the train station and welcomed us with a ceremonial scarf. The hospitality throughout our stay was truly exceptional. There were so many thoughtful complimentary touches - breakfast with a choice of Western or Chinese set, afternoon tea with drinks, fruits and cake at the café overlooking the beautiful pasture, and even milk/dessert soup at night. They also provided complimentary rides to and from a nearby horse ranch, which was only about 10 minutes away. I really appreciated that they created a dedicated WeChat group for us during our stay, so we could easily contact the team whenever we needed anything. Everyone was incredibly attentive, friendly and responsive. There is also a restaurant within the hotel, which was very convenient when we didn’t want to head out for a meal. The room itself was beautifully furnished and felt luxurious. It was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, and there was a smart home system to control the TV, lights and curtains. Honestly, we had no complaints about the room at all! One of the highlights for us was the pasture within the hotel grounds. The hotel says they have 10 different species of animals, and it was such a lovely experience being able to enjoy the scenery and animals right at the hotel. The view from the café overlooking the pasture was especially beautiful. Overall, this was more than just a hotel stay - it felt like a proper luxury experience. The beautiful surroundings, gorgeous room, thoughtful amenities and, most importantly, the incredible hospitality made us feel very well looked after throughout our stay. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Shangri-La!

Great location. Very peaceful and has stunning views. Has a restaurant on the property, but there is no room service. They have a DIY laundromat. Room was large and very comfortable. They follow warm yak milk every evening which was delicious and they have FOC afternoon tea for guests. Water bottles is free flow but you have to self collect from the lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is no room phone, instead they will create a WeChat group and you can text within any requests/requirements you have. From asking for extra towels, to restaurant recommendations, it’s all done through the chat. I have a lovely stay at this hotel even though there were a few hiccups. Also this manor is pet friendly, saw some people bringing their dogs for a stay which was lovely! Aside from these, they also have a costume store on property where you can rent traditional outfits for photo shoots at their farm. These several animals on site. Very homely place.

Location is away from town about 45 mins. however, it has a beautiful backyard with horses, sheeps and cows shadowed by mountains. so it is a lovely place. however if you book a double bed room, it will face the carpark and not the backyard and gets the afternoon sun which is a downer. We had to ask for 2 fans. There are Activites which the hotel has arranged FOC like afternoon tea, yak milk night cap and evening fireside activity. Staff are friendly and helpful . they actively connect with you via weixi group so that you can make your request known and respective staff will respond promptly. I left my cleanser when I checked out and the staff messaged me offering to mail it to me.

It was the best decision to come here  -Staff were so helpful and friendly, they would always greet you   -I didn’t know how to speak in mandarin but the staff were always accommodating  -there are so many animals such as deers, horses, sheeps and ducks  -the weather is still so nice at night despite raining a couple times  -the professional photography is 10/10 and I loved my pictures  -they would also have their own cars to drop you off to Napa Lake for horse riding and pick you up from there when you are done.  -the room with beautiful view and smart room  Do yourself a favour and book your hotel here and you won’t regret it!  来这里真的是我做过最好的决定！ 服务超赞：工作人员非常热情、乐于助人，每次见到都会主动打招呼。 虽然我不会说普通话，但他们总是非常有耐心、照顾周到。 生态环境：这里有好多小动物，像是小鹿、马、绵羊还有鸭子，特别可爱。 天气与体验：虽然下过几次雨，但晚上的天气依然很舒服。 专业摄影：酒店提供的专业摄影服务绝对要给10/10满分！ 拍出来的照片我特别喜欢。 贴心接送：他们还会安排专车送去纳帕海骑马，行程结束后也会接我们回酒店，非常方便。 房间设施：房间视野极佳，风景绝美，而且还是全智能控制的，科技感十足。 听我的，直接订这家酒店，你绝对不会后悔！

Stunning place! I was left speechless by the experience I had at this hotel. It had a stunning view, incredible service, a spacious and luxurious room, as well as good breakfast options and a restaurant for dinner (which also had good food). The location was also surprisingly amazing, as it was only a 15 minute drive from the airport and 20 minutes to the old town. However, this hotel is enough of an experience on its own, with various activities and fields to roam during the day and night. Worth the money spent for this luxury stay! We also learnt a bit about the Naxi and ******* people along with Shangri-La culture here through a few of the events! We even got free transport from the bus stop on arrival and to the airport at the end of our stay! Thank you for the wonderful stay and to everyone involved who was kind and helpful.
