Overall, it was pretty good. Traveling as a couple, we paid a few hundred yuan to upgrade from a standard room to a suite. The off-season price was quite reasonable. The hotel service was excellent and the facilities were complete. It should be one of the top hotels in Shangri-La, and the room amenities were also good. On the second day, the hotel helped arrange a car to see the 'golden sunrise over the mountains,' which was fantastic. However, the car service they arranged was truly awful – it was late and made many stops. While this might not be directly the hotel's fault, I hope the hotel can better control the quality of related services and not simply outsource without oversight.
Overall, the hotel was still great, and thanks to the front desk for helping us arrange our itinerary, which was very fulfilling.

The hotel's location is very central, with a local morning market right behind it, and the old city is only about 1km away. The room offers a mountain view, and in the mornings, you can catch a glimpse of the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunrise' – I was really pleased with this view!
