Clean and spacious room,room also come with heater.no elavator but host will help with your lugage.

The owner is friendly, the location is good, room is also quite clean. However, the toilet is abit old where it takes abit of time to flush, probably have to wait for half an hour for the water level to come up so that you could flush (so good luck to those that have diarrheas). But we had a great stay there.

The room was very clean upon entry, and everything was neatly arranged. The facilities were also comprehensive. The front desk staff had an excellent attitude, always prompt when called upon. I genuinely think this place is great and worth recommending! 👍

I will stay here again if I'm comeback again to Shangrila. Also will suggest family or friend to stay here if they going to Shangrila.
The host is welcoming us. They pick us up & the luggage on our arrival at the north entrance of Dukezong & send us of after checking out. The hospitality is great!
The hotel is best with the traditional architecture. Peace & calm to stay here. It's also located at the centre of Dukezong Ancient Town.
As a Muslim, it easy to find Halal restaurant near the hotel, about 10 minute only.

The room lighting was far too dim, making it difficult to see anything clearly. There were also small bugs flying around the headboard, and I couldn't understand why. The air conditioning in the room wasn't working, making it very cold when I wasn't under the covers. The faucet design also seemed problematic, perhaps due to its age. Getting warm water was a challenge; I couldn't simply turn it on, as it required fiddling with two separate handles, resulting in water that was either freezing cold or scalding hot. The towels were very rough and stiff.

The environment here is truly wonderful, offering great value for money. From the terrace, you get panoramic views of the entire ancient city, and you can even spot prayer wheels. The place is also spotlessly clean. Its central location right within the ancient city makes it incredibly convenient to explore everything.

My parents have limited mobility. For our family room for five, the staff helped us with our luggage to and from the room, and even assisted my parents with transportation.
The hotel is excellently located, featuring a grand and upscale interior with beautiful wooden finishes.
We stayed in a room on the third floor with an observation deck, which was thoughtfully equipped with a viewing sofa. From there, we could look up and admire the prayer wheel and the Giant Buddha Temple.
My father experienced discomfort due to the local environment (possibly altitude sickness), and the staff kindly arranged transportation to and from Diqing People's Hospital.
All in all, we are very grateful for the owners' exceptional hospitality and care. We wish them continued success and hope our paths cross again.
