Daish's Hotel

Taken care of. The hotel, food, entertainment, room all excellent. But had a problem the hotel was not responsible for, but both management and staff could not have helped me more with such kindness, I cannot praise them or thank them all enough for all they did to make my holiday so enjoyable, and could have been so difficult for me. Thank you all, and will see you in Dec. if not before BarRho

The wife had a accident en route to the hotel and from the moment we arrived the management team (Debbie &Jo) and staff was very supportive in making sure the wife was comfortable I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and understanding a big thank you to you all. Colin

What a great hotel, rooms nice a clean ,food excellent,staff so very helpful.a friendly.overall everything great.good entertainment ever night.nothing is to much trouble for everyone who works there.

Having stayed at this hotel a few years ago we knew what to expect.missed ferry both ways by a Dr minutes? But as regards the hotel it was up to it's usual High standard. I do like there system of ordering your next meal which helps both you and staff. We were lucky this year to have a young man called Jake that once he had checked your table order the meal was delivered efficiently within 30SECONDS THAT YOUNG MAN WILL GO FAR!! So if you want a nice break with a Bus Stop outside your Door and LOVELY BUSES and DRIVERS please stay at SAID HE HOTEL I.O.W.

room 62 was good, bed comfortable, shower ok, tv had limited programmes ,plenty of tea and coffee replentished daily, no problems, food was excellent, entertainment was good for 2 nights and ok for the rest , bingo and quiz were well run,staff were ace, one gripe was the limited time at osbourne house due to the minibus drivers option to return at 2.15, so no time to explore the out buildings

We stayed for a long weekend Deborah and her staff were very welcoming and friendly particularly Jake in the dining area he was second to none and the handyman I don't know his name he was so helpful we will definitely be back again and again. This is the fourth time we have stayed in this hotel deserves all five stars. You would not be disappointed.

Nice hotel staff very helpful, food is good, my room was very nice clean and nice shower, for the money it was good value restaurant staff Zac was lovely and helpful,

We had a very enjoyable few days at the hotel. Very good value for money short break. Food was good with plenty of choice and excellent service in the dining room. Hotel and room clean and tidy.All staff were friendly and helpful. Nice meet and greet by staff. Equally nice touch by staff upon departure hoping we had a good stay and safe onward journey. Hotel exterior definitely needs some tlc. Sadly lets the hotel down. We travelled to the hotel on Daish own coach and very comfortable and clean. Drivers were very friendly and helpful giving out good information throughout journey. Unfortunately return journey was on a non original Daish coach which was uncomfortable and dirty. The driver barely spoke all the way home and only stopped close to home for a comfort break. This took the shine off a great weekend away with friends. My first holiday with Daish and will consider using them again.

Excellent staff especially Mathew in the dining room, food was well above average, well presented,and plentiful The hotel was I'm sure very elegant in the day and some lovely staircases and pictures prove its pedigree however time is taking its toll and many areas could use some TLC. We had room 5 and it was a good size,well cleaned most of the natural light was blocked by a massive tree outside of the window (it was a nice tree). It had the smallest television I've seen and it was only used to watch the news but it was very very difficult. On our last night our bathroom was flooded by a leak from an upstairs room, quickly mopped up by a member of staff however as the water had leaked through the ceiling light fitting we were hoping to have the fitting checked over by an electrician and not the Batman,and so for the last night didn't use the bathroom electrics. Excellent place to explore the island with bus stops within 100yrds and brilliant walk down to Shaklin beach.
