Carrygerry Country House

What a great place. We stayed in the rooms off the court yard overlooking the ponies! You are in the middle of the country, Surronded by cow fields and only 10 minutes from Shannon Airport. We had the bed and breakfast rate and the breakfast was outstanding.. All fresh pastries right out of the oven, homemade jellies. Outstanding service and staff. A really beautiful place. You will not be disappointed.

Located near the Shannon Airport, surrounded by green fields with grazing cows, the Carrygerry Country House was a little bit of heaven. Niall and Gillian know how to make their guests fell welcome and uphold high standards of customer service. It is a full service hotel serving both homemade breakfast and lovely dinners. The establishment also has a full service bar where you can enjoy a pint out in their wonderful, private garden patio. We stayed here because of its convenient location to Shannon Airport, about 15 minute drive away and the quiet, pastoral setting. If you are arriving from an international destination or departing for a ling flight home Carrygerry is an excellent place to rest up. The day we arrived there were several family parties happening a first communion and wedding anniversary. So for the locals this is a special place to celebrate a family milestone.

Stayed in a room on the courtyard. Carpet was spotless. Twin room. Comfy beds. Huge bathroom. Great shower. Warm cosy and clean room. Woke up to the birds singing. Very peaceful. Dinner was excellent and breakfast was fabulous. 5 star service.

First time ever in the restaurant and what an experience. Fining dining at its best. Friendly staff from the second we walked in the door until we left. Great food, beautiful environment, great choice of wine. Overall, an experience that's worth the money. It was the 1st time but absolutely not the last time. A little gem hidden in Clare worth discovering!

I cannot say enough about Carrygerry House. We had our wedding there four weeks ago and it was so special. Gillian met with us before the wedding and went through everything with us. Such a fabulous, kind woman with great attention to every single detail. Not one single thing was a bother. The staff were all fabulous and we were so well looked after. Every single guest raved about how fabulous the service was and how intimate the hotel was. The rooms were all so cosy with everyone trying to find out what kind of mattresses they keep there. Carrygerry House is an experience that we would recommend to absolutely everybody. 5 stars in everything. Deirdre & Ger Frost.

We arrived on a rainy evening and were greeted warmly and offered a cup of tea in the parlor. Our room was in the courtyard, clean and spacious. We were asked if we would like to make a dinner reservation. After looking at the menu, it was en easy Yes! Food was fabulous and innkeeper so hospitable. We loved our brief stay. 11 minutes from Shannon Airport.

Beautiful older property! Nice dining area with great breakfast choices. Gillian, Geraldine and the staff were great!

The facility and the staff were awesome!

Very comfortable country house, easy access to nearby airport - makes for a great "last night" place to stay, although we also used it as our jumping off point when we first arrived. Beautiful surrounding grounds - hedges, horse pastures. Comfortable, well-appointed furnishings, good food and bar - kudos to Jillian and Geraldine
