The hotel location is great, very close to Ermalu Food Street, just a few minutes walk away. The sea view room offers a wide vista, though it was a rainy day ☔️, so it lacked a bit of ambiance. The hotel might be a bit older, and the decor style is somewhat reminiscent of older guesthouses, but the service is genuinely excellent, and it offers great value for money!

Our first stop on this Chaoshan trip was Shanwei. When I booked the hotel, I was swayed by the 4.8 rating online and the panoramic video, so I reserved two panoramic twin rooms and one king room. Upon arrival that evening, the front desk immediately informed us that because we arrived late, the rooms were on separate floors – one per floor – and two of them were corner rooms. Since my 80-year-old family member was staying alone in the king room and it wasn't on the same floor, we were worried we wouldn't be able to look after them. We hoped the hotel could coordinate, but our requests were repeatedly denied. Considering how late it was, we just decided to check in and sort it out among ourselves. To our surprise, the stay was extremely disappointing. First, the room was old, with peeling paint and cracks on the walls. The shower water was okay, but the worst part was the aging mattress; it was visibly sunken to the touch, and completely caved in when you lay on it, making it impossible to sleep all night. At 4 AM, I called Ctrip to explain the situation. Ctrip's communication with the hotel remained unsuccessful. Finally, a 10% discount on all rooms was offered as the solution. As a consumer with a normal weight who takes at least two in-depth trips a year, this is the first time I've encountered a hotel like this. At 495 yuan per night, I don't consider it low-end, yet not only were basic facilities not guaranteed, but the hotel, as a service provider, consistently refused to acknowledge the issues. The bed by the wall in my room, 1201, had the most severe mattress collapse. I hope my review helps future guests. Furthermore, the hotel's breakfast was incredibly perfunctory. Everything pointed to the hotel's lack of care and professionalism. The next day, before checking out, a front desk lady offered us three gifts, which I firmly declined ❌. I believe that ensuring basic infrastructure is the greatest respect a hotel can show its guests (I also hope Ctrip can supervise hotels with ratings that don't match reality, to prevent harm to consumers). My sincere thanks again to Ctrip's complaint supervisor and related staff.

The location is super convenient and well-connected. They kindly upgraded me to a sea-view room for free, which was spacious with a fantastic open view. They even offered a complimentary foot bath service. Great value for money and excellent service!

A truly satisfying beachfront hotel experience! The location is superb, right by the sea, allowing you to enjoy the ocean breeze and sunsets anytime. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and professional; check-in was efficient and smooth, and they patiently resolved any issues with a very friendly attitude. It offers excellent value for money, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended and definitely worth revisiting!

The room was clean and tidy, and the environment was great. It's a sea-view room right by the beach! The facilities are decent, and the service was excellent. It's great value for money. Everyone should come and experience this wonderful hotel!

The hotel is conveniently located near Erma Road, Mazu Temple, Guandi Temple, and the fishing village island. The only downside is the poor soundproofing, but for the price, it's acceptable.
