Coral Sea Imperial "Coral Sea Sensatori"

I never usually leave negative reviews but I'm sorry to say I feel I need to in this case. This is not 5 star! We are currently here and this is our last full day. The good... Exceptionally clean Lovely pools Great location Grounds kept immaculate. Waiter staff and cleaners very helpful and friendly. Hard working entertainment team Spacious rooms and we enjoyed the swim up pool Amazing snorkeling The bad... The first, and main thing is the food, especially in The Restaurant, the main buffet restaurant on the resort is terrible, repetitive and bland. I have NEVER had an upset stomach abroad. I steer clear of anything too spicy but it was all pretty tasteless. I've travelled quite a lot and never had a problem. I was laid up for a 2 full days effectively missing 2 days of my holiday. My partner was affected for one day and we basically spent one full day in our room in bed and scared to not be near a toilet. We booked a sensatori resort as it stated the difference between a tui blue and a sensatori was gourmet and the attention to detail was supposed to be top notch. We have stayed in more reasonably priced hotels with FAR superior food. Fish is just signed fish, what sort of fish?? In almost every other places we've been has mullet or red snapper etc labelled and its carved in front of you. Just labelled fish in sauce. No teaspoons for anything, just wooden stirrers which burst your teabags. No spoons for adding things to your meal, wooden small spatula things that you have to just try and balance any additions to your meal. Terrible desserts which look pretty but so disappointing. Ice cream very poor Rude and abrupt reception staff. Bartenders also quite rude if you go to get your own drink which we did occasionally as the wait can be quite long, especially on the beach. The app!!! There is no notice boards saying what activities are on and where they are or anyone encouraging participation. You have to book them through the tui app. I consider myself quite tech savvy but I found this confusing and a real faff. Noone tells you what's happening and where. My partner enjoys taking part in most activities but gave up trying to book things. Even the nightly quiz you have to download an app to play along and it doesn't always work. Speaking of the nightly entertainment because noone informs you the venue, which is opposite reception is quite empty. We spoke to one couple and they'd been here 6 days without knowing it existed! If you want to go to the 3 restaurants you get with your package this is booked on a machine in the lobby, another unnecessary faff. We found it all very impersonal. WiFi is limited which we've never known before and we've had to pay for extra as we used our quota. No drinks in the room fridge. Curtains and blackout curtains badly hung and hanging off in our room, lack of attention to detail. Overall very disappointed in what we thought it would be

The perfect destination for couples and honeymooners. Out of the blue services and facilties. Definitely we will repeat this visit ❤️❤️ A wide variety of activities during day and night, and also the internet and wifi coverage is amazing everywhere either inroom or outdoor.

Just visited for the first time. The hotel it self is very beautiful, clean and the service is impeccable. We chose a junior suite with a swim pool which was huge and the view of the beach were absolutely stunning. The food in the Al a Carte restaurants are delicious and of such high quality, however the main restaurant is a little disappointing with not a great deal to offer which is a shame as the snack bars are great and serve lovely food. Big shout out to Micheal in the reception team who went out of his way to help me. He was very understanding, friendly and made my experience even better! All the staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, from housekeeping to the bar staff. The only major let down to the holiday was the entertainment, my Son is 9 and there wasn’t much for him to do at all. The kids club was catered more for younger kids and the evening entertainment just consisted of singing and more singing. Tui deffo need some newer concepts and make it more interactive. Like in the day activities weren’t announced until guest had complained. The pool atmosphere was a bit dead as music was on very low. So entertainment was a 5/10 for me. Over a great holiday but would deffo rate as a 4 star due to the lack of entertainment and main restaurant not being the best!

We last visited this resort about 8 years ago and enjoyed it so much we had to return. Much of what made the resort then hasn't changed such as the wonderful staff, food and fantastic scenery. But, like with an ex, its best not to go back.  Life moves on and with it expectations, and perhaps, how we view things. I still love the resort and encourage people to visit and enjoy the experience but for us it is no longer the romantic get away it once was for couples. The people I do encourage to visit though are families and those travelling with families. It is ideal for children as it is safe, open and combines various pools with a lovely sandy beach and a shallow coral. There are events taking place all day meaning they should never be bored. The adults only area does tick many of the boxes. It is relatively peaceful. But when competing with a host of similar resorts small things can make a difference - There is now a play park and shaded family area erected on the beach opposite or near the adult area (and next to the exclusive/private beach). A fantastic idea and ideal base to keep kids out of direct sunlight but at the expense of the peaceful adult area. For us this is simply in the wrong area. The main dining restaurant is superb and has an adults only area. This works really well. Unfortunately this is not carried over into the other eateries and bars. Not a criticism of parents as it is their holiday to enjoy but highlights the family resort aspect. Again, and this is subjective, but I found this particularly prevalent when, after 11pm, parents were bringing pushchairs and toddlers into the adult entertainment. In conclusion for those wanting a quiet romantic couples get away this is no longer the resort for you as there are other and better options out there.  No resort, no matter how good can ever be everything for everybody. For families its perfect (5 stars) and undoubtedly will get even better.

This hotel is simply the best for me in everything Sharma. I have vacationed here 8 times. And every time was wonderful. The location is great, the service is top notch, the staff is very pleasant, the Egyptian animation is wonderful. Very fun, positive, lots of different activities to choose from. It's very nice to be here. Regardless of who you come here with, children or a couple, you will really like it here, I assure you. This is an incredible hotel And maybe it's not last time I came here)

I booked this holiday after being in desperate need of some winter sun, and this hotel did not disappoint. I didn’t know much at all about Sharm, or even Egypt, before this trip and I was completely blown away by the hospitality and niceness of everyone we met. From the staff at the hotel, to locals when we went on excursions, to staff at the airport - everyone was so nice and welcoming. The hotel itself is amazing. Everything has been thought about and considered. The grounds are well looked after and frankly quite huge, but not too large where it would be overwhelming to get from A to B - we learned the layout really quickly. As an avid gym-goer, I found the gym to fortunately be well equipped. Top tip: the dumbbells handles are quite rough/sharp, so I’d recommend bringing gloves (if that’s your thing). There are lots of different pools for different things and plenty of activities that aren’t just for kids. We stayed in the adults area and spent most of our time by the adults pool. Despite being a family-friendly hotel, there are a good amount of concessions for adults, like an adult-only section in the main restaurant, which we really appreciated. A massive shout out to Ahmed who served us by the adults pool almost everyday - his fun and friendly nature made a huge impact on us and we were really sad to say goodbye - top quality service. When we booked this trip, we didn’t plan on going any excursions, but we actually ended up doing the Titan Island diving trip and the Sinai Desert experience - both of which were incredible and so worth doing. I was very mildly apprehensive about being in the care of people outside of the hotel, but I needn’t have worried as we were looked after so well on both trips (the diving trip especially). All in all, everything about this trip blew us away, but the staff and people of Egypt especially take the cake for us. Everyone we met and interacted with made our stay so memorable and so special - I have never been somewhere where I felt so seen and cared for. If I did have to list a drawback, it would be the smoking, but this usually ends up being a negative for me wherever I go. As a non-smoker, it’s quite frustrating having to breathe in smoke just by being in outdoor spaces. In the evening we would like to sit outside, but most people who tend to sit outside are smokers so you can’t avoid it (unless you solely sit inside!). It is just one of those things, however, and it didn’t negatively impact our stay my any means. Would we go back? In a heartbeat. We’ve already looked at going back this year or next, and it’s obvious why we spoke to a lot of people who were going back for a second time.

Amazing stay in a beautiful hotel. Gorgeous location on the beachfront. Good variety of restaurants and very accommodating kids club with lovely staff. Evening entertainment was also pleasant with a variety of acts appealing to different age groups. Aimee in particular was extremely lovely toward us going above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. She gave an excellent recommendation of some bars at soho square to visit , which me and another hotel guest had a lovely evening visiting. I hopefully plan to return in october of this year, would definitely recommend the Sensatori to anyone visiting Sharm. W x

Just returned after 10 nights staying here for my 40th birthday with family and friends. We had this booked for a year and was so excited with all the hype around the place but I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. To start the main reason for travelling was for my birthday and before we travelled we pre-booked the Marhaba restaurant for our 1st night as this was my 40th birthday. On arrival there was no record of this booking even though I had the booking confirmation on my emails. The man in reception Michael could not have been more rude, abrupt and ignorant if he had tried and basically told me I was lieing and refused to even look at the confirmation email I had received from the hotel prior to travel. It was eventually sorted and off to Marhaba we went for my birthday, but no balloons or cake or celebrations at all but others around us who were enjoying birthdays had balloons, cakes and songs by the waiters. In fairness the meal was absolutely fantastic and service was very good. It gets better from here, that night when laying in bed the phone rings and it's the Marhaba restaurant asking why we hadn't turned up to our booked meal to celebrate my birthday as they had cake and a celebration waiting for me. Totally disorganised. On arrival at 17:00 pm our room was not ready and we sat in the bar for an hour being told 10 more minutes everytime I chased up what was happening, this was very frustrating when check in is 3pm with a tired toddler who was eager for a swim in the swim up pool. Once we got in the room the swim up was lovely room with sun all day room 3112. A few minor issues with tbe bath and shower that were never fixed and remain "pending" on the Blu app to this day. The restaurant buffet is very average. The staff are absolutely fantastic, Mahmoud the absolute best. Breakfast was ok with a vast selection but the quality of the fruit and sausages were alot to be desired. Lunch and dinner there was again alot of choice but the quality very poor and no theme at all. The deserts by far the worst I have come across in multiple 5 star resorts across the world. Casa Bianca and Marhaba were very good and worth a visit. Tiran diner was very poor. Service was awful and food not far behind. Asked for the burger with no mushrooms but it turned up with mushrooms. When I raised this they took it away and scraped the mushrooms off and brought it back still with a few mushrooms left. Not ideal if you have an allergy. This was raised on the feedback card that was probably binned to save management from seeing it. Also its so dark in there for evening dinner we needed the torches on our phones to be able to see what we were eating. The main pool is nice and staff very attentive. It seems they pick and choose who's towels they remove though and tried to take mine when I was sat by the pool at 8 am rather than any of the 100 plus unoccupied towels.
