We booked a king suite and they gave us a room in the newer building (although they said all their rooms have now been remodeled so you can’t go wrong either way). Check in was great, the girl who checked us in was super sweet and helpful. There’s a good amount of parking on site. When we got to our room, we noticed a sound coming from the bathroom. The water in the toilet kept on running. My boyfriend figured out that the tank was not filling up properly and to help stop the water flow, he lifted up the flusher in order to allow the tank to fill up and stop the sound. Every time we flushed the toilet we had to do that to help save water otherwise the toilet would just keep running. There was a small fly in the room but no other bugs on or around the bed. Everything was clean and free of stains. The bed was very comfortable. The room has light blocking curtains so it stays dark through the morning. The shower curtain in the tub (advertised as a deep soaking tub on Hotels but is actually just a regular bathtub) is also a dark curtain which makes the bathroom quite dark while you’re showering. The AC is pretty loud but it didn’t disrupt our sleep. The motel is conveniently located next to restaurants and close to shops like Rite Aid and Safeway. About 45min from Manzanita Lake in Lassen NP which is why we chose to stay here. It’s also very close to Burney Falls which is another must-see! Overall we enjoyed our 3 night stay and would stay here again!

Prices werent to bad. Rooms are very nice and clean. Staff are all very nice. The free breakfast was a joke, oatmeal and fruit.... fruit was either not ripe or looked like the fruit that fell off the tree and the bugs had their way with before being picked up and given to guests at the hotel for breakfast. Oh and the juice machine has been broken the whole time ive been here, 3 night so far. but all in all this place is pretty nice and I will definitely stay here again.

I made a reservation through Booking.com at this Roadway Inn in Redding for my daughter and granddaughter for 6/6-7 but they were unable to get to the motel tonight so I canceled the reservation through Austin. He canceled and verified there would be no cancellation fee and to let Booking.com know I canceled. I did that and they told me they would charge me a one night cancellation fee. I asked through an option on their website that there would be no cancellation fee and they said I had to ask the property to waive that fee. I did so and they were unaware that they had to verify with Booking.com so I called Austin back. He again was most helpful and left information for his boss since he is not working Monday. I will double check with Roadway Inn tomorrow to make sure I’m not charged a cancel fee. All this information is to let Roadway Inn Redding know that they have a valuable, well trained employee in Austin and that he offers his customers superior customer service. He deserves a raise and lots of praise. Thanks Austin. Sue Bartlett

I was very happy and impressed at my recent stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Redding. The property was clean and well maintained. They were well staffed and the employees were all very attentive and friendly. They offered an evening reception on the night I stayed which consisted of complimentary beer and wine with chili and nachos. Breakfast was also impressive as they had a large selection to choose from consisting of fresh and packaged items. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Across the street was a great BBQ place and ice cream spot if you didn’t want to drive anywhere. While I did not use it for this trip, I saw there was a hot tub available for use outside, although the pool was closed for the season. The only minus was that the walls were thin. Overall, I was very impressed at this hotel and it is now my preferred stop whenever I need to stay in the Redding area.
