The rixos borovoe is on bank of lake schu.location amazing. Service superb. Staff so friendly though they do not understand your language. Food for vegetarians is sone problem.the guy at reception was so friendly. The roons are well maintained and well equipped

I would call this hotel - pay for everything, pay for every step! a very expensive stay - a day cost almost 40,000 rubles with breakfast for 2 adults + 2 children WITHOUT provision of a bed, and the breakfasts were as meager as possible - for several days there was never a red fish, the most ordinary cheap sausage and cheese, rubber tomatoes and imported cucumbers, no waffles or pancakes with Nutella for children - I would call this menu completely unworthy of the Rixos chain, and the hotel menu is several orders of magnitude cheaper. A very modest meal at lunch and a drink of water in a cafe on site is 10,000 rubles (for children, mashed potatoes with a cutlet - so you understand the price level, or fries and nuggets - it’s 2,000 rubles per serving)). On the plus side, there is a good spa and swimming pool. That's all! There is no entertainment, and what there is, everything is for money! a scoop of ice cream 650₽! The territory is not very large, relatively well-groomed - they are constantly repairing and doing something, but without frills. When you check out of your room, your Wi-Fi is cut off, this is just rubbish!!! We have been to many hotels of the Rixos chain, but we only saw this in this hotel. Bottom line: the hotel is definitely not worth that kind of money! This level and service for a hotel are 3 times lower in cost!

Great location, great hotel like all Rixos. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are also several restaurants on site. In winter there is its own ice skating rink, cheesecake slides... Near the hotel, a 5-minute walk is Santa's village.

I truly had an amazing time in the hotel - I didn't know about this chain of hotels till coming here to Kazakhstan but it's comparable to hotels you would find in the Philippines and Indonesia - one of the best I've ever been in.

The location and the hotel itself are great. We took full board and on 10/16/23 we were given vouchers for restaurants. We placed an order at Chalet, waited 50 minutes for the soup, we are waiting for the steak, I hope we will get it. Yesterday there was mold in the raspberries in the dessert, so something went wrong. The breakfasts are delicious and varied. Staffing varies by shift. We have 4 children with us, so the long delivery time is really bad.

But on warm autumn days it’s very good. Huge area with own parking. Entertainment areas, bike rental, different types of baths, gazebos and walking trails, restaurants and ******s. Nearby there is a forest with comfortable paths laid out with paving stones. We took the standard breakfast. The room is very cozy. There is a safe, ironing board and iron, bathrobes and slippers. Sets for making tea and coffee, large bottles of water. The soap sets included bath salts. There was also a compliment from the hotel: cakes, water and fruit. Breakfast and dinner in buffet format - above all praise! Huge selection of delicious and fresh food. Your stay includes a visit to the spa area with a swimming pool, Finnish sauna and hammam. I will be glad to return here at another time of the year!

The staff is awesome, super helpful and very pleasant. I would like to specially acknowledge Vladislas (at the Chalet), Temirlan and Balnur (at the Summer cafe), and Yerlan and Alexei at the front desk for their efforts in making my stay more pleasant. It is very much appreciated! The location of the hotel is optimal, with a sandy beach by Lake Shchuchie. It also has a nice spa, and some delicious food! I specifically requested a quiet room (if possible) and upon check-in was told I was given a very quiet room. That room ended up being above the terrace bar where there is live music from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM some nights and the closest to the elevators which meant that I had all the "elevator traffic" walking by multiple times a day and night. That room also has the disadvantage of the cooking smells from the Olivio restaurant, especially in the mornings. For the record that is room 502 (I would avoid...) The 2nd night I was moved to another room that ended up being just on the other side of the terrace bar... Also because it was very windy, the cables that tether the canopy above the bar creaked all night (not the hotel's fault but very annoying.) I was told it is best to avoid upper floors on that side of the lake when it is windy as the cables are much closer to the room windows. Duly noted!
