The chalet itself was very nice, even though the jacuzzi was a bit old and the pond was full of frogs who kept croaking all day. However the owner completely ruined our one-week stay by being overly controlling and not respecting our time, spending almost 2 hours explaining to us how to behave on his property at check-in, and then insisting on doing a thorough inspection with us at check-out. It felt like he was doing us a favor by letting us stay at his chalet. He ended up retaining almost 200$ on our deposit for miscellaneous items such as a scratched soccer ball and 2 dirty towels.
