A well-appointed room in need of better cleaning:
There were a previous guest’s leftover fruit loops on the floor, dead bugs on the windowsill (see photos), a greasy un-cleaned desk, pizza crumbs on the night stand, and a faint stain on the bed cover. Cleaning hotel rooms is hard work, and hopefully, their staff is paid competitive and fair wages.
On the plus side: they had an uncommon service of hot breakfast during the pandemic. The pillows and bed were decent. The window opened up for fresh air from the outside. Really importantly, there was zero odor of any tobacco residue or third hand smoke as you might find at a cheap motel. The bathroom was well-cleaned, the front desk staff was professional and courteous, the lobby was clean, the location was safe and conveniently-close to the interstate.
If the rate was decent, I would consider staying here again, but would bring along some Clorox wipes, and ask for a blanket instead of the bed covers which, due to labor cost, I doubt get washed after each guest.

Not the cleanest place but not filthy either and the lobby and elevator smelled of mop water both days even though I didn’t see any wet floors. It was not pleasant. You should be able to walk in and smell that good “hotel smell” not a public washroom. Also, we were on 2nd floor and could easily hear the person walking around in the room above us.
