Hyatt House the Woodlands Shenandoah

I stayed at this hotel for four nights. The bed was very comfortable, but on some nights people were sitting by the fireplace and it was very noisy around 2 a.m. I had to call the lobby three times before the noise was taken care of.

New and clean. The breakfast was nice))

This beautiful hotel was spotless, the staff was very. Quick, kind and very attentive during my whole stay. The breakfast area was always full and keep picked up.

The location of this Hyatt brand is not seen from the freeway, and hidden by a block of apartments. But, it was no trouble for me due to saving a couple of minutes via my navigation app. It just a block away from my go-to hotel -- an explanation of why I didn't stay there will come in a later. Atmosphere was really chill. Staff on duty were friendly and understanding -- I checked in about an hour after the start due to traffic with no fuss. One of them correctly guessed that I was in town for the Sting concert at the Pavilion. My room was nice and cool, although I did had to adjust the a/c temp to make it comfortable for me. It ran at the right times, and I didn't have to get out of bed in the middle of the night to adjust it. Everything looked cleaned even though I had to use Clorox wipes before I took a shower. But, that's just me. Speaking about the shower, a shower mat was available. You don't see those often provided. The only thing that I found unusual -- again, this is probably a quirk of mine -- was that the outlets were installed upside down. I'm sure there was reason for that, but I didn't dwell on it too much. And, why I didn't stay at my go-to hotel. The value was within my budget. I'm guessing that since my stay was the beginning of the Summer season is the reason why my go-to was not in my budget. I would stay here again.

The location was great! Hotel was so clean and spacious! We loved all the local art that hung on the walls near the lobby. It was like walking through a free art gallery. The breakfast was great! Staff was friendly. It seemed like a very expensive hotel, but was very cheaply priced! Great experience

It is a great value for the money, no doubt. And great location to hospitals and shopping. That said, you cannot get CNBC on the room TV. Unacceptable. In fact, the whole available short channel listing is biased amazingly.
