Shengsi Shengshan Island Yicheng Light Luxury Sea View Homestay

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, perched on its own hillside with incredible views. The room itself is clean, cozy, and decorated in a Greek style, and the bedding was super comfortable—I slept really well! I was a bit worried about water pressure on an island, but to my surprise, the shower had great pressure and hot water. Both the owner and the manager are incredibly professional and enthusiastic. It gets windy at night on the island, and the owner even proactively contacted us to ask if we needed a ride back after dinner, which was truly touching! This is a hotel that genuinely cares about its guests. I haven't written a review in a long time, but such a wonderful stay deserves a proper commendation and promotion. My trip was a bit rushed this time, but I definitely want to come back and visit again when the weather's better!

I chose this hotel for a weekend getaway with my family to Gouqi Island. The owner was incredibly nice, arranging a car to pick us up and drop us off at the ferry terminal, and also provided various suggestions and information, which added a lot of fun to our trip. The hotel has a clean, minimalist white style and is very tidy. The amenities are also quite thoughtful; even the toiletries aren't cheap. The hotel's location is also good, with great views and close proximity to the commercial street. The hotel breakfast is a set menu, quite well-prepared. I especially recommend their restaurant; the owner personally selects the ingredients, which are very fresh, and the food tastes fantastic. This hotel is highly recommended, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

This guesthouse has a great location and a stylish, grand design. The rooms are spacious and tidy, with clean bedding, and the bathroom features a dry/wet separation and good water pressure. The front desk service is excellent, and the owner has a fantastic business philosophy; they contacted us a day in advance, personally picked us up on the day, and even upgraded our room for free. Stepping out, you're greeted with beautiful scenery. They treat guests like family, which is very heartwarming. We had lunch at the guesthouse, and it was delicious. The breakfast was exquisite and tasty. All in all, great value for money and highly recommended.

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a 6-minute walk to town where you'll find a supermarket, seafood restaurants, and drink shops. The hotel restaurant has a fantastic ambiance with unbeatable sea views. Their WeChat support is very responsive, answering questions quickly and even helping with taxi bookings. This place is perfect for a relaxing, slow-paced vacation by the sea.

It's incredibly convenient for visiting all the attractions, and you can walk to the town in six or seven minutes, saving a lot on transportation costs. Facilities: The room facilities are simple, clean, and very refreshing. The bed was extremely comfortable. Hygiene: The hygiene was excellent. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. I originally booked for one night, but I enjoyed the environment so much that I extended my stay for another night. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance.

Free shuttle service (round trip) to and from Shengshan Goji Pier: Very convenient, with excellent service. No need to waste time waiting for the bus or paying high prices for taxis on the island. Environment: The room is spacious and airy, with sea views from three sides. It's also great for photos on a sunny day. Facilities: Well-equipped and clean. The infinity pool has a fantastic ambiance. Staying at this hotel helps you forget all your worries and truly relax on vacation.

The B&B arranged pick-up and drop-off from the pier, and the owner was very responsible, personally chauffeuring us. The hotel is quite beautiful, right by the bridge, with a simple white decor. The room view is also excellent; you can see the sea right from your bed. Even the bathroom window offers a sea view, which is lovely. The air conditioning in the room was strong, and the comforter was dry and fresh, which was a pleasant surprise! The only minor issue was that the room window wasn't very clean, probably due to being by the sea. It would be even more perfect if the glass were clean. The prices during summer vacation are truly double what they normally are. If you came during the off-season, you'd find it great value for money, but the summer prices are really steep!

The hotel is just a few hundred meters from the town center, so dining out is super convenient!! I'll definitely choose this place again next time!!!!!

This guesthouse, perched on a hill, seems to be quite popular with influencers, featuring many Instagrammable photo spots. Both the rooms and the restaurant boast floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sea, with the rooms directly facing the Rainbow Lighthouse. The restaurant's view is also fantastic; having breakfast with that sea view in the morning is incredibly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the weather on our first day was terrible, with strong winds and heavy rain, which completely dampened my enthusiasm for taking photos. I imagine it would be amazing to visit in the summer! The in-room amenities were a bit lacking; perhaps to maintain a stylish look, there weren't many power outlets. However, the service attitude was absolutely superb—they were always ready to help. They even gave plenty of advice to us fishing novices who were enthusiastic but unskilled. I must also mention the free pick-up and drop-off service, which saved us a good amount of money, considering that taxi fares on Shengshan and Gouqi Islands can be quite expensive. The recommended driver was also very nice. I'd definitely come back in the summer just for this level of service!
