Shenyang Shangri-La Jen Hotel (Shangmao Restaurant Shenyang Station Taiyuan Street)

This hotel, part of the Shangri-La group, is conveniently located very close to Shenyang Station and right next to Taiyuan Street, making it easily accessible on foot. The location is quite good. It seems to be an older hotel that was acquired, as the furniture and decor style look about 20 years old and a bit dated. However, it's thankfully quite clean. The quality of the bedding is decent, and the room size is ample, meeting four-star standards. The staff's service quality is excellent, which I believe is thanks to Shangri-La's influence. Considering it's officially rated as a four-star hotel, it offers good value for money.

I stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel, Shenyang with my family. There was a minor hiccup during check-in, but it was resolved smoothly. We got upgraded to a park-view room, which offered a great view. The hotel's location is also excellent, right next to Taiyuan Street, making it convenient for dining and shopping.

The hotel was very clean and tidy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and even suggested we check out a morning market in Shenyang. Plus, the room was very spacious, measuring 78 square meters.

Initially, I was a bit hesitant after reading some online reviews, but since the team was staying here, it made it more convenient for us during the competition. So, I decided to go with it. I sent my son to check it out first, and he said that while the hotel was old, it was generally okay. My actual stay confirmed this. Although the hotel is quite old, the brand does an excellent job with maintenance. All the facilities were in good condition, the bedding was very comfortable, and the towels seemed relatively new. The bathroom sink was spotless, with no grime or stains. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, covering all the essentials. Overall, it's great value for money, and I was very satisfied with my stay. Small suggestion: It would be even more perfect if the carpets could get a deep clean.

Special thanks to the Front Office Manager and the front desk staff for their thoughtful and meticulous service, prompt responses, and patient assistance in resolving any issues, which made for a very comfortable stay. The guest rooms are clean and tidy, with excellent hygiene, comfortable bedding, and quiet, providing a high level of comfort. The dining options are good, with a rich variety of dishes and delicious flavors, making for a great dining experience.

Great brand, but the room was a bit old. The service was excellent, though parking was a little tight.
