Novotel Shenzhen Watergate (Futian Huaqiangbei)

The hotel is a bit old-fashioned but decent. It's clean and the room is spacious. The Wi-Fi isn't great, especially in the restaurant where there's barely any signal. Breakfast was really underwhelming, very basic. On the plus side, it's quite close to the subway.

A standard, old-school high-star business hotel, nothing spectacular but perfectly adequate. The location is excellent, though the facilities are a bit dated. Big thanks to the front desk for the room upgrade to an Accor member floor.

The room feels a bit dated, which is understandable given its age, but it's well-maintained. The toiletries and towels were new. However, it doesn't quite live up to the Novotel standards I've experienced before; it lacks that premium feel.

This older hotel is very close to the Grand Theatre station. It's also really convenient for Huaqiangbei and MixC. The hotel feels well-maintained despite its age, and the rooms even have bathtubs and don't feel dated. It's in a quiet residential area, so it's peaceful. The breakfast offers a decent variety, nothing spectacular but perfectly fine. I even kept my room card as a souvenir. The young lady at the front desk was very kind.

The environment is quiet, and the breakfast is particularly rich. The room is quite spacious and even has a bathtub. The bedding is clean, and the mattress isn't saggy or too soft. The location is also easy to find – just turn a corner past the China Construction Bank to get to the lobby. For this price in this area, it's a great deal. I'll definitely be back to stay again. It's just a shame they don't have a delivery robot! 🤖

This hotel offers incredible convenience for getting to the high-speed rail station, subway station, and airport. Popular attractions are also easily reachable within 15-20 minutes by taxi or subway. I definitely made the right choice; staying here saved a lot of travel time to attractions, leaving more energy and time to enjoy them. Considering its prime location, amenities, and service quality, it offers excellent value for money. It's particularly well-suited for business travelers and families. To summarize the hotel's strengths: superb location, excellent transport links, convenient shopping and dining, spacious rooms with great views, well-appointed facilities, and comfortable bedding. The dining quality is high with a wide variety of options, the service is professional with attention to detail, and the wellness facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained. Plus, elevator wait times are short.
