My stay here was fantastic! The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was exceptionally clean and fresh, with no strange smells, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive; check-in and check-out were quick, and everyone was so friendly. The facilities are great, and it offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit. Highly recommend!

I travel to Shenzhen for business around 10 days every month, and I've stayed at the XANA hotel chain more than ten times, never leaving a bad review. But this time was really disappointing. 1. **Cleanliness**: During my last stay, there were hairs on the bed, floor, and in the bathroom, and even food crumbs. But since the front desk staff were nice, I just tolerated it and didn't leave a bad review. This time, there were still hairs on the floor, and the sheets and duvet cover were very messy (as shown in the picture, this is how it looked when I first pulled back the covers), like they hadn't been changed. So I asked for new sheets and a duvet cover. The front desk said housekeeping had already finished for the day and couldn't change them. Then we negotiated for me to switch rooms, but I had to wait half an hour and remind them twice before they finally brought the room card. 2. **Service**: When checking in, I asked the front desk for earplugs. At first, they said they didn't provide them, but when I expressed doubt, they said they found some and would send them up via robot. After I switched to the new room, and after three reminders and over an hour of waiting, I received four pairs of earplugs (do I have eight ears???). 3. **Soundproofing**: The window in the new room didn't close properly, and the people next door were smoking, drinking, and talking loudly (XANA claims to be a non-smoking hotel throughout, but this clearly wasn't the case, and the smoke smell coming through the ventilation was unbearable). So I asked to switch back to my original room; I just wanted to get some sleep. The front desk said I would need to pay a cleaning fee to switch back. I hadn't touched anything in the new room except the duvet, so I really don't understand why I would need to pay a cleaning fee to switch back to my original room.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and it was a truly pleasant surprise! I originally booked a double room, but to my delight, the front desk attendant, seeing that there was availability, proactively upgraded my room for free. She was so kind and thoughtful, which made a great first impression right from the start! The room itself was incredibly comfortable. It was spacious, recently renovated, and all the amenities were complete and functional. The air conditioning maintained a comfortable temperature, cooled quickly without being noisy, and the soundproofing was decent, allowing me to sleep soundly through the night. I honestly can't fault the cleanliness; every corner was spotless and well-maintained, clearly indicating a thorough cleaning. The service throughout my stay was excellent; the staff were polite and proactive, making for a very smooth check-in and overall experience. It offers great value for money, providing a secure and comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend it to friends and will choose this hotel again on my next visit!
