The hotel was doing extensive refurbishing but hadn't told me beforehand.
There was dust on breakfast tables. The food was buffet style so can imagine dust had settled on food. I stayed because I needed 24/7 heating due to my health. My boiler at home had broken down and I didn't have hot water or central heating. I found cedar court radiator wasn't working properly. Hence I had to use fan heater which they provided.

On going to sleep I closed the bathroom door shut to stop the noise from the bathroom fan. On me shutting the door, it locked from inside and my boyfriend could not get back in. We had to go down the main desk to report, where they came up to try and sort at 1am. The man was back and forth a few times trying to locate the key. We were then moved to another room at 1:30am. However still had belongings in the bathroom. We were told to ask the morning reception, which we did and still couldn’t get in the room. I got offered one of their toothbrushes and toothpaste for free, and told that they would post my toothbrush and toothpaste back free of charge. No money was refunded to us, due to the inconvenience caused.

Myself and a colleague arranged to meet at the hotel to work prior to a meeting and I have nothing but positive things to say. I was greeted by a friendly member of staff who explained the car parking and that we could sit anywhere. We were looked after by a fantastic member of staff Megan who was welcoming, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Despite food not being served we asked if we could get a pastry or biscuits and she accommodated us with both - in fact a whole tray of small pastries. Cannot fault anything about my short visit and would highly recommend it.

Our young waitress Megan was brilliant and so helpful. She definitely went the extra mile in making sure we had enough coffee and snacks, even though the restaurant wasn’t fully open. We will definitely use the hotel for more events and meetings. Also the hotel was very impressive in its decor and facilities.

Had my wedding there on the 6th July and oh my god what a beautiful/amazing day we had. Beautiful hotel, rooms are lovely & clean. Bridal suite was gorgeous. Food was perfect. Staff was brilliant! All was lovely, really helpful, no issues at all, day went smoothly & they made everything about our day so special. Would defiantly do it all again & defiantly do it there again!!! Couldn’t praise & thank them enough. Defiantly recommend over & over again!!!
