Stayed here on the 29-06-2024 My Company paid £173.69 Room only!!! Room was old fashioned tv was no bigger than a laptop screen and didnt work! towels were not much bigger than tea towls total rip off..........................................

Stayed for 2 nights, a joint gift for our birthdays. Had a lovely stay. Double room with a huge bed. Very quiet at night. Nice breakfast with everything one would expect from an hotel. Help yourself and sit down in the comfort of a great dining room. Staff are really friendly and go out of their way to make a guests stay enjoyable.

Stayed for 2 nights in a twin room which for what it was is expensive. There was no coffee machine in the room and just sachets of instant coffee. No fridge so water only from bathroom. The room was adequate. The hotel needs updating which would take minimal effort but they are clearly just unwilling to add the small changes that would improve the hotel significantly. The dinner was very nice but breakfast was not. Breakfast is canteen style and an extra cost on £14! We declined on the 2nd morning. I wouldn’t stay again as the issues are really down to poor consideration of customers that could be easily be resolved but the owners just can’t be bothered.

Excellent afternoon tea. Freshly made cakes and sandwiches, including cheese and fruit scones.Hot tea and coffee with refills . We sat in the restaurant which is nicely furnished, but could have sat in the bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were made to feel welcome and would go again.

A warm welcome from the young lady on reception and an equally lovely welcome from the waitress at the bar. An abundance of freshly made sandwiches and delicious cakes and scones. Both fruit and cheese. A great pot of tea and an extra one was a bonus. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The pastry chef deserves a special mention. A 5 star ⭐️ experience.

I was upgraded on arrival, to a beautiful room with a lovely view of the golf course.
A very comfy bed, the only downside was you can hear everything going past the room, but I zoned it out. A fabulous shower - the type you don’t want to get out of.

Reception staff we’re very friendly and welcoming Hotel is impressive upon approaching but mattress slopes down on side nearest the bathroom and needs replacing, as does the whole television/cable system which barely works. Limited choice of channels and no TV Guide available. Remote control has all lettering worn away, TV is very small, glitchy and dated.

Excellent roast dinner, tender meats, plenty of veg and extra gravy. Staff were lovely. Our waiter, Alex, was friendly and funny without being overly so. Pretty fresh tulips on the tables. It's not the first time we have enjoyed food at The Links, and definitely won't be the last. 10/10
