This is a very historic inn that was founded in the Taisho era and is located within easy reach of Ishidangai. Koganeyu is very pleasant, especially Ninoyu, which is 1m deep and it was my first experience, so it was very warm. I booked a room in the main building, and the toilets and other plumbing areas had been renovated, making it very clean and comfortable. However, most of the dishes served at the restaurant were already arranged on the table, and there was no explanation from the waiter. As for the tempura, I couldn't eat the ``Lotus Lotus Shrimp'' because it had a bad smell and seemed to be spoiled, perhaps because it was a rotten ingredient. I asked them to lower the amount for the whole family, but there was no explanation or answer as to whether it was damaged or not. This dinner incident ruined this trip. I have written many reviews so far, but I have never had an experience like this before, and I am very sorry to write such a review. It was a ryokan that I had high expectations for, so I wish they had given a more detailed explanation.

The atmosphere of the ryokan, the service of the staff, and the meals are satisfying. I think it's a ryokan that makes the best use of the old building and lets you feel the history. The attached bar & cafe is also very nice and a fan. The only downside is the hotel amenities. . . . Considering the environment, it's probably a soap shampoo, but it makes my hair dry. The body soap also gives a rough finish to the moisture of the hot springs. There is not air volume, too, and dryer put is too disappointing. Recently, every ryokan hotel has high-quality amenities, so I only brought basic cosmetics by myself, but when staying at this ryokan, I recommend that you bring everything.

I stayed here because I was attracted by the fact that it is an inn related to Tokutomi Roka and that it has a 500-year tradition. On the homepage, it says that the rice should be warm and the taste should be warm, but it was a lie. Please compare this photo with the photo of the dish on the website. This was lined up when I went to the restaurant. There is no sense of season at all. Sukiyaki, tuna sashimi, simmered figs, small incomprehensible kobachi, and for dessert, matcha mousse like you would get from a buffet, topped with nasty vegetable cream and two slices of stale pear. The only thing I can manage to eat is sukiyaki, and everything else is just for space and hunger. The best treat of the day was the salt-grilled sweetfish I bought for 500 yen at a street stall along the river before check-in. The temperature of the hot spring is low, and the temperature of the open-air bath is about the same as that of a warm pool. It's cold. The indoor bath is usually warm. The room is said to be from the Taisho era, but the renovation seems to be quite lax and cheap materials are used. The picture is the key in the tray, should I put this on? I checked in around 4:00, but there was construction noise from next door. It stopped in the evening, but I can't understand the construction next to the guest room I'm using and making a loud noise. The owner doesn't seem to care much about that area. The best thing about this store was the attached cafe. Coffee, cake and pudding were good. I won't be going there again, but if someone from the store sees this, I would recommend staying at Mukaitaki Urabandai Kogen Hotel in Fukushima, Sagazawakan and Asebino in Shuzenji. is recommended. It will be helpful to see how much other facilities are doing with the same amount of money. At this rate, the long-established stores left by our ancestors will continue to sink. In particular, Takahara Hotel is a purveyor to the imperial family, just like your restaurant, but it has been wonderfully renovated and has preserved its traditions. I think we can still make it in time.

From JR Shibukawa Station, take a bus bound for Ikaho Harunaguchi (Suica and Pasmo available) for about 25 minutes and get off at Ishidangaiguchi. The entrance is on the right after going up about a quarter of the stone steps. 100% golden hot spring in a good location and abundant source. Founded in 1502, it is also famous as a regular residence of Roka Tokutomi. I stayed in a reasonably priced room on the 2nd floor of the main building. Basically, it is a room meal or a private room meal, and I have the impression that they are paying attention to corona measures. While retaining the atmosphere of the Taisho and early Showa eras, the plumbing and warm water washing toilet seats have been renewed, making it easy to use and clean. I was able to use wifi in my room as well. Yukata, towels, bath towels, toothbrush set, shaver, comb, socks for yukata, bath bag are all provided, and a hair dryer can be rented in the room. There are no showers or baths in rooms other than those with baths, so bring your towels and bath towels to the hot springs. If there are 4 private baths available, you can take a bath without a reservation. The large public bath with a depth of 1m and the large bath with cascading water are switched between men and women depending on the time of day. The hot water is not too hot and is easy to enter. The water in the open-air bath is quite lukewarm, so it is better to warm up in the indoor bath or large public bath before entering. The sauna is seasonal and unavailable. Also, there are quite a lot of stairs to go from the main building, so it seems difficult for elderly people. Each bath has a washing area, and the minimum amenities and hair dryers are provided. It might be a good idea to bring cleansing or facial wash foam. Since it was a weekday, Yubune was always to myself and I was LUCKY. I don't like meat, so when I told them in advance, they changed it to fish. It was delicious ♪ The room, the food, the hot water, and the customer service are not gorgeous but soothing. It was a good inn that was well taken care of.
