"My stay this time was excellent! It was my first time at a Hilton Garden Inn, and everything from the hotel's environment and service to its facilities was meticulously arranged and met all my basic needs. The hotel's location is also great, close to nearby malls and attractions, making transportation very convenient. The room was spacious, very clean, and tidy. It was equipped with a mini-fridge, minibar, microwave, and air purifier, and even many daily essentials like a fruit basket. I'd also like to give a big thank you to the front desk staff. As a first-time visitor to the unfamiliar city of Shijiazhuang, I really appreciated their warm and attentive service. They were very responsive to guest needs, even upgraded my room, patiently explained everything, and helped me with my luggage to the elevator. Overall, it was a very smooth and satisfying experience. If I come back to Shijiazhuang, I'll definitely choose this hotel again."

"This is such an amazing hotel. We had an excellent stay with the staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome, happy and comfortable. Thank you for being so amazing and making us fall in love with Shijiazhuang! The facilities are fantastic (although the dry sauna is only available in the men’s changing room, the ladies did have a wet steam room) with a well-equipped gym for cardio and weight training, a great swimming pool and spacious yoga studio. The coffee and food were excellent with an impressive spread at breakfast. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Above all what stood out most is how hard-working and kind the staff are, in a really beautifully designed setting with the best range of facilities we have experienced in China so far. Thank you for an amazing highlight to our trip 😁"

They even gave me recommendations. The nearby snack shops were very convenient for dining. The room was tastefully decorated, with good soundproofing. Most importantly, Jin Taiyang even brought me fresh, special fruit. It was truly heartwarming; they treated me like family. I will definitely stay at the Ximei Hotel again next time I'm in Shijiazhuang. Being in the city center makes it convenient to get around. "**Hotel Review: Aesthetic Excellence Overshadowed by Comfort Failures** Our recent stay at this supposedly 5-star hotel left us with mixed feelings. While the hotel clearly invested heavily in aesthetics, creating a visually stunning environment that looks fantastic in photos, the design seemed to prioritize form over function, ultimately compromising our comfort. Sadly, this became a deal-breaker for us. The most glaring issue was the room's ventilation and temperature control—or lack thereof. We visited in early March, and the entire building was excessively heated. Despite being from a tropical country and accustomed to warm weather, I found myself sweating in shorts and a singlet. The staff, though polite and eager to help, seemed powerless to address the issue. They provided us with a small portable AC unit, which was better than nothing, but it was clear from their demeanor that this was a recurring problem for guests. Sleeping was a nightmare. The only way to cool the room slightly was to keep the windows open, but this meant having the blinds and curtains up, allowing outside noise and light to flood in. The choice was between sleeping in a sauna-like environment or enduring the disturbances from outside. Needless to say, we had a terrible night's sleep and were relieved to check out after just one night. On a positive note, the service was impeccable. The staff truly deserve recognition for their efforts to assist guests despite the limitations they faced. The breakfast spread was also a highlight—delicious, varied, and reasonably priced, especially if you inform them in advance about adding breakfast to your stay. The room amenities were top-notch, and the spaciousness of the room added to the overall sense of luxury. We got a family suite which was plenty spacious and came with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 bathtubs and a living area. However, these positives couldn’t outweigh the discomfort caused by the poor temperature regulation. During our trip, we stayed in four different cities across China, and this was the only hotel that lacked proper air conditioning and heating controls. For a 5-star establishment, this is a significant oversight. In conclusion, while the hotel excels in aesthetics, service, and amenities, the lack of a well-thought-out solution for room temperature is a major drawback. Management needs to address this issue with a long-term fix. After all, no matter how beautiful a hotel looks, it’s hard to appreciate it when you can’t get a good night’s rest."

The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and there was a smart toilet, plus a mini-fridge – all the amenities were quite complete. They even provided storage bags and tote bags, showing great attention to detail! I forgot to take pictures, but overall, the environment, hygiene, and decor really impressed me. I'll definitely choose City Hotel again if I'm in the area for business!"

"Hebei Zhengtai Hotel, I really didn’t expect that a historical building would be renovated and preserved so beautifully. The entire hotel is in the style of the Republic of China. The hotel also has its own exhibition hall of the Republic of China. It is really great because it is a protected cultural relic. The Shota Hotel does not have an elevator, so people carry luggage up to the room. It was really hard work for the guy who carried my 60-pound luggage up to the 3rd floor by himself. Every service staff in the store is very nice and everything is done. Everyone responded. The room hygiene is also great. The coffee at Shotai Hotel is so delicious. If I have the chance to go back to Hebei, I will definitely choose Shotai Hotel."
