This inn and restaurant is so beautifully decorated. The artistry in the stone walls, walkways, plants, and cultural pieces is done tastefully and elegantly. We were very pleased with our one night stay after walking the Stone Forest for the day. It was a perfect days end and I suggest staying rather than boarding the bus. We walked the 1.8 km from the park ticket booth and bus area to this venue - easy to find (except that the pin on the map on Trip.com shows it on the opposite side of the road. Nevertheless, it was very easy to find from the pictures on the site by looking across the street.) We took the bus to Shilin and back to East Coach Station - super easy - 43 RMB each.

My stay was absolutely a delightful experience. The host Chu Da is a kind, sensitive, and gracious person. He made sure that our needs are met. He volunteered to drive us to Shilin scenic area, free of charge. He was always there to help us. That level of hospitality and generosity is very moving. He rendered our relationship more than just a business transaction. He is very sincere and available to help, and yet not intrusive. He is a man of few words, and even came across as a very shy and reserved person. But it was a pleasure to be around him. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is an ideal host. His house is aesthetically pleasing and tasteful and enjoys state-of-the-art facilities. My room felt like a five-star-hotel room with a balcony. The backyard gives the whole house a space of tranquility. Chu Da apparently loves life and living. All the plants and flowers both inside and outside of the house are well cared for. Chu Da has a son who was there too. I find his son a delightful child who resembles his father in both appearance and personality. Their house is centrally located in the Yi Ethnic Village and yet enjoys a very secluded corner that feels very private. With all these amazing qualities, this place is yet so affordable. The level of service that I received made me feel that it’s actually underpriced. Highly recommending this place to you. I would stay there if I were going back, which is very likely given that I had such a wonderful, albeit brief, visit.

Hotel accommodation includes four meals in the morning, lunch, and supper, but the meal is very general, and the room attendant is very good, always smiling, and enthusiastically recommending the eggs produced by the company to us, which is really delicious and cheap (one yuan). The service attitude and service awareness of the front desk staff of the hotel were mixed. We stayed for three days in total. The service lady who stayed at the front desk on the 25th was very general. There was a little girl who looked very beautiful at a little younger. There was no smile at all. I don’t know anything. Nor should anyone. After noon on the 26th to the front desk on the 28th, the front and back ladies were very good, answering all questions, friendly attitude and thoughtful service. In addition, the water in the shower room in the room is really bad. Every time I take a shower, I will flood the Jinshan Mountain. I will rush to the outside sink floor. What is more disgusting is that our toilet was blocked the next morning. Press the two more flush buttons and the sewage will come down from the toilet comic. The floor is full of dirty water.  However, the room attendant responded very quickly. We called the service desk less than 2 minutes. The room attendant came to see that he also brought a toilet to clear the pump. We opened it all at once. The waiter also called the engineering department staff to help us repair the toilet. After that, it was very , but the water problem in the shower room was still very poor. The hotel is suitable for self-driving tours. There is no requirement for meals, and friends who like to soak in hot springs and pay attention to health.
