Hotel Dormy Inn Premium Shimonoseki Reviews

The hotel is located right on the side of the bay with views of strait Ganryujima Island and a short walk away from some great restaurants. The staff were really helpful, from parking, to reception and the breakfast team, all of them were genuinely friendly. The room was spotless and the onsen was amazing. I've really enjoyed my time in Shimonoseki and the Dormy Inn was a great base for this. Thank you.

I always stay at Dormy Inn no matter where I go. The premium experience is definitely a step above. In the hot spring, there were these huge bundles of plants that looked like green onions? And you could see Mojiko Port from the outdoor bath. I heard the breakfast here was great, but I just went for a hot spring soak in the morning and missed it.

Location is the best if you want to visit Karato Fish Market. Place is good for self drive. Whole surrounding is quiet and peaceful

Very close to the Shimonoseki cruise terminal, about a 7-minute walk from Shimonoseki Station, take the elevator over the overpass~ Dormy late-night ramen and sauna pool, with a view of the Kanmon Strait

Overall you can except the same service from this Dormy like any other

Especially Onsen facility is excellent. Good front desk helpful and service. highly recommend.

Very good hotel.

There was a sauna, midnight noodles, ice cream, and free drinks, and the room was very clean and wonderful.

This Dormy Inn is true to the other Dormy Inns in Japan: impeccable cleanliness and very professional service. The open-air onsen on the top floor is very pleasant. Enjoying a small ice cream after a visit to the sauna is also a delightful treat. I will definitely return.

The hotel is very close to the station and a short drive from Karato Market. The only downside is the lack of private parking, which makes it a bit inconvenient to move luggage.

The hotel is very affordable, and it has a hot spring on the rooftop. Late-night snacks, ice cream, and drinks are mostly free. Although it's a little far from the train station, it's still highly recommended.

The hotel parking space, is outsourced to park in another place, we arrived at 3:30 pm, saw a parking space but the staff said there was someone parked, just out! But the outsourced parking space has a time limit, not self-in, in addition to the time clock, if there is an option, the hotel's own parking lot is much more convenient! Every time there is no parking space, but the hotel hot spring is on the 10th floor, you can see the sea view, is my most reminiscent! Guests are not crowded, very comfortable, everyone can enjoy quietly!

The air conditioning in the room smelled terrible...it took a while for the smell to dissipate. The breakfast and the location were very good. Parking was limited. There were special packages available nearby for 1300 yen per night. The Shimonoseki Dream Tower is nearby, offering sunset and night views.
