Front desk people were great and accommodating, kids loved the pool. Breakfast was delicious as well as the coffee. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful, clean hotel and beats the $hitty pants off anything around in a comparable price range. Needs an update but has been very well maintained so don't complain. Staff is warm and courteous. They have a pool and hot tub that looked nice too but didn't get a chance to check it out.

Was recently in the area and stayed for 3 nights. Even though there was not room service (daily cleaning) they accommodated us with all requests. Very comfortable bed and pillows and clean. It's not a new hotel but kept up well. Will stay again next time in area.

Loved this hotel- personable staff, great breakfast, pool was warm and the slide was so fun for my kids. You can tell they do not cut corners, even during their slow season. We stay at a lot of hotels- this one got top marks from the whole fam.

Myself, daughter and two grandkids stayed one night. The decor was rustic and very, very comfortable. Our check in clerk, Frankie was a gem. She helped accommodate me as I am unable to walk stairs. We were a bit early for check in, because we had to make a wedding several miles away. She did a great job of booking us in fast. Smiling the whole time and so polite! Other people would have been irritated, but she wasn't. The pool was wonderful and swimming was fun. Ps the pool temp was perfect for this grandmother ☺️

Bed was good. Pillows and blanket were good. The air conditioner worked great. The lighting was low. One of the 2 lights in the room had a broken switch. They added outlets for boat charging since our last visit.

This was a great stop right off the Paul Bunyan Trail. Has first floor rooms for bikes. For $20 they did our laundry. Nice clean rooms. A short walk into town where you can get a bite to eat. Would stay here again.

A service business lives and dies by its people, and I found the Walker Hotel to have the best team of people I’ve met on this trip. I have been riding my recumbent trike up the Paul Bunyan Trail, and I needed a rest when I reached Walker. I was sweaty and filthy, Jason behind the desk jumped right up and helped me move my wheels inside (cumbersome because it’s slightly too wide to roll in straight and needs to be turned sideways), and even let me keep it in a storeroom off the pool during my stay. I liked the vibe so much that I ended up rearranging my plans and staying three nights. The breakfast was always hot and fresh, the pool area was clean, and they even sell ice cream and popsicles from the front desk. It’s a good family place—casual but clean and kept in good repair. There’s always someone manning the front desk who’s ready to help. Which Stephanie did, helping me to get my trike back outside on the morning I rode on my way. This is my first trip to Minnesota, and these folks made sure that it was a good one.
