Friendly helpful staff. Sensational location

Our large family group booked a range of accomodation for a long weekend pre-Chris**as get together. The location is brilliant. Just across the street to Shoal Bay Beach. Several restaurants, takeaways and an IGA in the next block. The team at the front office reception were universally cheerful, helpful and lovely. The maintenance man we saw was busy keeping the place spotless, emptying bins, cleaning BBQs and even updating the painted markings on the road. When checking in you get a code for the car park and a colour coded map showing where everything is. Very well organised. It also includes an after hours phone number to call in the case of any issues including noise. We had no noise issue but we were comforted by this approach. One day our toilet started leaking. It was fixed within an hour or two. One person had a broken fridge and almost immediately a replacement fridge was brought in on a trolley. You don’t get this level of service in a 5 star hotel! We had a one bedroom cabin. Just fabulous. Light and spacious. Air con was so quiet and kept up even on the hottest day. Plenty of PowerPoints. Several of our family had safari tents. The safari tents are located surrounding a spacious open area with 2 BBQs and lots of picnic benches. Ideal for our family get together. They were really nice with a simpler kitchen and bathroom and no aircon. (The maintenance man was driving around offering people extra fans! How good is that!) All up we were really impressed and couldn’t fault a thing. This could be our new family get together place. Highly recommended.

Wonderful location right opposite Shoal Bay beach. Close to restaurants, pub, shops. Clean, well maintained grounds. We had 2 nights in a Standard 2 bedroom cabin. Modern, Well laid out with a full stove. Bathroom is on the small side but functional. No dishwasher powder or dish cloth supplied but once raised with reception problem was sorted. Faulty kettle caused power issues twice but an easy fix both times. 10pm noise curfew in place but a noisy party was still going strong after midnight. Raised with reception the next morning. Would stay again.

Great caravan park with amazing, clean amenities, right across the road to the beach and walking distance to fabulous restaurants. Good size sites (we have a 22ft caravan) our friends had an en-suite site, which was amazing also. Friendly staff

Great stay. Best location

The park is well set out with shops and restaurants within walking distance. The facilities of tennis court, games room and camp kitchen were added helpful facilities. The cabin we stayed had a well equipped kitchen and an outdoor verandah space with table and chairs. A common use BBQ was located near by. Spare batteries for the TV and DVD controllers would have been helpful.

Checkin was quick and friendly giving us a full explanation of the park. We stayed in the Safari Tent accommodation for a couple of days and absolutely loved it. They are fully self contained. The Safari tents were modern, very clean, bright and airy. The shower was great and a good size with good pressure and plenty of hot water. The tent area was very large with a queen bed, an extra rollout bed and a lounge. The tent had a full fridge, microwave and sink. While there is no table inside the covered verandah had a very nice 6 seater table. The Safari tent had a very high ceiling with good lighting and fully screened including a security door. The Safari tent was a nice change from an apar**ent or a hotel room. The park is a very easy 2 minute walk to shops and eateries with a nice beach across the road.
