Didn't get to stay roads washed out, flooding & no restaurant open in town. Owners were kind enough to refund our 1st night back to us.

Love the historic structures and open space in this area. Museum accross the street has alot of great displays along with a resteraunt ajoining the museum property that has cool displays throught out including out back.

Hear me out. Pulling up to the motel (yes, it’s a motel) you get Bates horror movie vibes and I admit I wanted to cancel and possibly look at a place in Parumph, NV which I’m glad I didn’t. Rooms are super clean no parking issues and it’s super quiet. I’m glad I gave it a try trust me the place will grow on you. Food options are zero so packing in your food is a must. Microwave and fridge are included. My 11 year old even enjoyed the stay going to the geo thermal pool nearby. It’s a short walk. There is another town close by that has a brewery. It’s definitely a community gathering place just don’t judge the houses. It’s roughly an hour drive to the valley and well worth saving money just pack in food and water. They do have a simple breakfast. Staff gets a 10/10

Looks like an old mid century roadside motel from the road...but the rooms are very up to date with quality amenties. We had a mini-kitchen which had microwave, fridge, decent coffee maker, sink, some dishes, and small table with two stools. In addition they have fruit, yogurt, and bagels you can toast in the office after 8am. The warm spring pool is a few minutes walk away and could be a tad warmer for my taste, but we had it to ourselves. We'll be back.

Very nice ,clean, comfortable room with mini fridge, microwave and keurig. Nice little extras of pillow spray, lip balm and eye cream. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Close to south entrance of Death Valley. Enjoyed fire pit in outside common area. Continental breakfast offered @8 but we started our adventuring at dawn so did not get any. Stools in room are way too high to sit with legs under the counter which made it a bit awkward to eat there. Room was not ready at check in had to wait about an hour. Overall was nice and would stay again.
