Villa Del Sol Corfu

My son and I stayed at Villa del Sol last August (2023) and somehow I forgot to leave a review, sorry! But, have to share that we had a fantastic time here. Loved the location, the pool and the wonderful Maria (my fellow Virgo!). We truly had a lovely time enjoying down time in a safe and relaxed accommodation with plenty to do nearby! Hopefully we will be back soon!

Our first stay in Sidari, but what an amazing find these apar**ents are. We arrived to find two small bottles of local wine waiting for us, free air conditioning, a mosquito plug in repellant, free use of the room safe, and a large bottle of water. Maria, the owner was lovely and helpful, she never stopped smiling, so hard working, ensuring that all of her guests enjoyed their stay. We didn't meet Yannis, as he was visiting family in Athens, but we look forward to meeting him next year as we intend to return. The sea themed artwork around the apar**ents and pool is lovely which has all been done by Yannis. They are a lovely hard working family, who take pride in these beautiful apar**ents. There are lovely comfortable wooden sun loungers with cushions around the pool, enough for all. The pool area is cleaned daily and the rooms are kept spotless by the lovely cleaner. The apar**ents are in a lovely quiet location near to Megali beach, with plenty of bars and restaurants within a two minute walk, with amazing sunset views. A five minute walk to the ***** if you want things more lively. We asked for a room that had the sun in the afternoon, Maria told us when her father built these apar**ents he made sure that all of the apar**ents received the sun in the afternoon which is why the apar**ents are called Villa Del Sol. Maria also gave us some of her homemade pie, cooked from the vegetables in the garden. The iced coffees were amazing with a free bottle of water to ensure that you didn't get dehydrated. The swimming pool was salt water and lovely and warm with no chemicals. All in all absolute bliss, we can't wait to return. our 4th visit to these wonderful appar**ents in sidari. yannis and maria as always made us feel very welcome.they work so very hard just the two of them to make sure their guests are happy,comfortable and have all they need for a relaxing holiday. we stayed in the junior suite which has a seperate bedroom upstairs and is equipped with all you need for self catering .lovely breakfast and snacks and drinks at the pool side bar.complementary water and wine or beer in your fridge on arrival and tea and coffee .pool area and rooms spotlessly clean and always plenty sunbeds available. megali beach a few mins walk away with restaurants overlooking the sea.the ***** is approx 10mins walk with plenty of bars and restaurants.i have never stayed anywhere as peaceful and welcoming as villa del sol and will be returning here for many years to come.please do not listen to any negative reviews. not all guests conduct themselves in a good way or respect other peoples property and most buisnesses will get their share of professional complainers who feel its ok to childishly insult the hosts.why ?????? thank you yannis and maria for looking after us so well as always. see you again as soon as possible. julie ana alan xxxxxx

Great friendly place to stay. Very clean and safe place. Well run with owners Yannis and Maia on site to help you, nothing is too much trouble. Pool is very nice and kept in good clean condition. Will be coming back. It has been our 2nd time here.

Excellent studios, Ioannis and Maria are very warm and welcoming and are always happy to see you. We stayed in a split level suite which was lovely and has almost everything you need for a great self catering holiday. Includes air conditioning and a TV. The pool area is very nice with comfy sun loungers and plenty of them. The location is great, away from all the noise on the ***** but close enough to walk there in 10 minutes, there are plenty of bars and restaurants right next to the beach which is a 2 minute walk away. If you want a fantastic chilled out peaceful place to stay then this is the place. We would definitely stay here again when we return to sidari.
