When we arrived at this hotel we were dropped in a dark back street with little to no lighting, once we had checked in we were informed that the majority of the facilities in the hotel needed to be paid for if we wanted to use them. (Safe, WiFi, Air con etc.) We were given a tour around the hotel which all seemed very run down but we didn't think much of it as it was cheap. Once we got into the room we discovered that the pictures of this hotel were nothing like the real thing, it was in a complete state of disrepair, we had been given 2 single beds despite booking a double room, the room had a very very strong smell of varnish and the window frames, doors and door frames were still sticky, this meant that we were unable to open the balcony or windows as they were sealed shut. There were many dirty areas of the room, the bathroom in particular was filthy with dirt, body hair and cobwebs and a strong smell from the drains. The shower head was not properly fitted as the mount was broken. The beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable and we also found some hairs and stains as though they had not been changed. The single plug socket by the bed did not work so we were forced to unplug the fridge as there was no other plug socket in the room. There was a loud party until the early hours in one of the rooms nearby which made it impossible to sleep as the walls are paper thin. When we arrived we were told that food and drink from outside of the hotel was not allowed to be brought in which would force us to only shop at the small shop within the hotel which had very little options and was quite expensive. We checked in late at night so wasn't able to try the food but we did see what was left from dinner and it looked very poor quality. We checked in around 7pm and had booked another hotel within a few hours. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here as there are much better hotels in the area for a similar price.
