Receptionist was very friendly and helpful on arrival and upgraded us to a lovely balcony room which was a lovely surprise. All the staff were very welcoming.
This hotel is being looked after very well.
Breakfast was yummy and the selection was good, everything you could wish for.
I loved the freshly baked pastries they were sooo good. We have been to this hotel twice and we will be returning there hopefully in a few months.

Welcome, staff, general ambiance, location all excellent, slight problem with lift, but hotel had just opened for the year, the day we arrived. Many people staying at the hotel, come every year and love the hotel, including somebody who lives in Sidmouth!

we were part of a coach trip. our room was clean and spacious ,ensuite had bath and shower but did have 3 steps to get into it, so that could be a problem for some. food and service was top notch .everyone was polite and friendly . only drawback there is no entertainment except for board games even a little background easy listening music would have been better than nothing. the hotel is ideal in situation as its near shops ,beach across the road .

Just returned from a trip with Ava travel. I stayed in a single room ( 305 ) which was very comfortable and very clean. Slight noise from the fans outside but this didn't keep me awake at night. Bed very comfortable and shower amazing. Staff are lovely and friendly and give great service. Food plentiful and of great quality. A choice of menu each evening. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and would definitely return again. Thank you to all the staff for making this holiday a memorable and enjoyable experience.

This was probably our 14th friendship group visit. As usual excellent food , spotlessly clean hotel and friendly, helpful staff. A special shout out to Steve , in the restaurant, for his great care, attention to detail, getting orders right and remembering us all individually from year to year. Four nights for the price of three is a great deal.
