We stayed at the Elephant Hotel for 5 nights in April 2024 and had an excellent experience. The room was large and comfortable and an oasis in the heat as was the pool which is a good size and extremely clean. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this hotel.

During an in-depth tour of Siem Reap, I stayed in the hotel for 5 days. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony with a wide view. The hotel staff are friendly and considerate. It is within walking distance of Bar Street and the hotel also provides free delivery. Recommended

The facilities are average, the hygiene is OK, and the service is pretty good

Beautiful hotel, the staff are so friendly and extremely helpful! The pool is great and the bed is very comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel! Couldn't believe it for the price!! Perfectly located a few mins drive from the centre/pub street.

This place far exceeded our expectations! The customer service was outstanding - greeted with cold towels when ever we came inside, delicious food and drinks, very quiet atmosphere and the staff were so helpful. They even have a tuk tuk service to get you to Pub Street for dinner (although the location of the hotel is good and it is only a 10 minute walk there). Very good value for money and would highly recommend

From the moment you arrive at the Elephant you are treated like royalty, given a cold towel cool off and welcome drink.They staff is very pleasant and will look after your every need. We stayed 5 nights and had no issues. In the afternoon they offer a tea with snacks and they have a happy hour at 5. In the evening if you are headed out for dinner they offer a free tuk tuk ride into town. The bed was very comfortable and the the pool area had lounges and umbrellas . Over all a very pleasant stay.

Warmly greeted by owner/ Manager Cheean! Beautiful boutique hotel very close to fantastic Pub Street. The hotel was more than accommodating to our needs and went above and beyond what is expected to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. Kudos to the entire staff at the hotel for the service and friendliness! Highly recommend this hotel. They also have a courtesy Tuk Tuk to drop you off to the market. Cheean helped us with booking of the Kannel Show (must see}.

Our room was great with a balcony (complete with bath on the balcony!). It overlooked the pool. The staff were friendly, welcoming and so helpful. The breakfasts were served from a menu (not buffet). There were always loungers available round the pool. Hotel located within walking distance of some eateries. We took a Tuk Tuk into the centre of Siem Reap - probably too far to walk, especially in the heat. We really enjoyed our stay there.

The Elephant exceeded our expectations. The staff are friendly and always on hand to help answer questions and make your stay fabulous. Our room was large, very clean and had a very comfy bed. We loved our balcony looking over the pool area, the air conditioning was very efficient and the WIFI was great. They also had reusable water bottles and the pool area was kept very clean and there were pool towels available. The hotel was really quiet and we loved that it had a restaurant attached so if we were tired after exploring temples we could enjoy a delicious evening meal and cocktails. The staff were really helpful in altering dishes to make them vegan for one of the party too. The hotel lays on free tuk tuks into town between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm which is wonderful and there are always drivers available during the day and night to take you anywhere you’d like. When we returned at night all the tuk tuk drivers we used new where the hotel was located, so it was easy to get about. We had a wonderful stay at The Elephant and would definitely stay again if we return to Siem Reap. We would like to give a special thank you to Mr Soknov, Sarene, Mr Samnang and Chilli for making our stay extra special with all your help and wonderful service and of course Coconut the cat. We booked a taxi transfer direct with the hotel from the new airport as it's 1 hours drive from Siem Reap. We would recommend this service.

It’s the staff. Mr P, Boleyn, and their comrades. They were sooooo obliging, curtious, kind, friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Free afternoon tea. Happy hour. Lovely pool. Best rooms 102 & 103 poolside. Laundry service. Get a recommendation for a taxi and keep him for your stay. I suggest tin tin

From the very beginning to the very end of our short stay, the hotel, its staff and the food constantly impressed. The hotel is a calm haven away from the hustle and bustle. The food is amazing and the staff are just great. Can never do enough for you.

Stayed 7 nights in a one bedroom apartment in this well run hotel. Staff is outstanding and very well trained. Location is excellent being within walking distance of the old Market and Pub Street yet realitively quiet. We used the hotel's airport pickup for a cost of $33 each way. Having been to Siem Reap multiple times we used the same tuk tuk driver for the last 9 years but the hotel has quiet a few capable drivers available at all times. We had one evening meal and several breakfasts at the hotel. Food and especially the service was very good. I would prefer more western or ala carte choices but what they have is adequate. Two blocks away is the Muffin Man bakery and restaurant and they offer excellent breakfast choices. A few blocks towards the old Market is the Khmer Grill which has many choices at very affordable prices. Also just past the Khmer Grill down the alley is Wild which is a highly rated restaurant featuring Spring Rolls both fried and not fried. I would highly recommend. Down and across the street from the Muffin Man is a Khmer soup restaurant frequented by lots of tuk tuk drivers. We were the only westerners there but the owner speaks basic English and it was excellent. He charged us $1 for a bowl of soup with lots of meat in it. This hotel offered the best wifi of any hotel I have ever stayed in Siem Reap. It also has more than adequate air conditioning. We plan to return to Siem Reap for a more extended stay and The Elephant will be our first choice.

Lovely hotel in Siem Reap. We stayed for 5 nights with our young children (ages 2 and 4). The family room was large and very comfortable (2 bedrooms and a living room). Staff was lovely, very helpful and bonding with our kids. Great pool, great breakfast, great value for money and experience.

The Elephant Hotel in Siem Reap was a great base to explore the town of Siem Reap, the many temples of Angkor Wat and the surrounds of regional Cambodia. The hotel was comfortable and affordable, with a range of accommodation between a stand alone villa with pool, and hotel room accommodation with a veranda overlooking the main pool. The food was plentiful and had good choices for international visitors. The complimentary afternoon tea was very welcome. Of most importance however were the staff in the restaurant and behind the front desk. They were consistently friendly, cheerful and welcoming, very to teach the visiting westerner some Khmer greetings and courtesies. A great and welcoming experience.
