We spent 1 week in March in the back room (999). Small 3 bedroom family structure close to town but in a quiet location. We booked on the hotel website, which gave us some significant advantages. Warm and attentive staff. They organize, at your request, all your excursions. Small private swimming pool on the roof of your room, large room but a little dark. In short, excellent stay, recommended ++++. We will go back 😉

Great rural Villa’s set amongst lots of greenery. Quiet small hotel with 4 villas, staff very polite and courteous with breakfast options cooked and delivered to the villa or rooftop pool as required. Complimentary mini bar stocked daily and free Tuk Tuk drop off pick up service. Villa looking a bit tired with decking requiring painted along with some inside villa areas. Very very steep stairs to rooftop pool, not for those with physical or age limitations. Internet connection very poor at times along with internet tv can be sluggish. Would consider again but always like to try other options too.

A perfect location to relax after strenuous sightseeing. Frank, Ryna and the entire staff are wonderful people. Polite, helpful and always striving to offer guests a pleasant stay. We were 2 couples and stayed for 4 days. Special mention must go to Sopheap, who drove us to the temples and Tonle Sap in a comfortable van. Sopheap is a quiet, careful driver, very polite, always in a good mood and educated. We learned a lot about the history, religion, politics and economy of Cambodia from him. His recommendations for restaurants and shopping were top notch. Thank you Frank and Sopheap and the Desarann team for the eventful days in Siam Reap.

A lovely boutique hotel tucked away from the main street in a village/rural setting. The proprietor and staff were most responsive to our needs and provided excellent service. We can't fault the place for a lack of service. We enjoyed the benefits of having the private pool to cool off in after the heat and exhaustion of Angkor. The proprietor picked us up from the Airport and gave helpful advice on when and how to visit Angkor. He assisted us by arranging a tuk-tuk dawn ride to the ticket office which came with a fantastic/reliable guide that led to a most memorable visit to the Angkor ruins. The sounds of the Cambodian toads croaking at night at the hotel had a lovely soothing effect on us. When it came to a very early check out at 6am, we were served with an early hot breakfast at 5:30am in our room. Wished we could have stayed longer.

The positive points: The welcome is very good, the lady who takes care of the apar**ents very friendly and helpful, a tuk tuk is at our disposal. The negative points: access is not easy, it is a dirt road and there is barely room for a car.. the photos do not reflect reality, we have an impression of space whereas what is really not the case...The apar**ents are joined. When we enter the apar**ent, it is very dark with red velvet drapes, there is a kind of plastic film on the windows which adds to the darkness, which we really didn't like, we felt oppressed by the darkness. Our apar**ent (and the others I suppose) absolutely needs to be renovated, there is a corrugated plastic roof in the bathroom where cats are walking around...everything is worn, dated and the cleanliness is approximate. Between the bedroom and the bathroom, there is a small corridor with a wardrobe, one of the doors of which was broken with slippers that we never wore because apparently they were not washed either... In the main room, the kitchen where we had lunch, there are lots of stains on the cushions of the small sofa and on the table, it's not clean... On the roof, there is a small terrace with a small Pool more like a jacuzzi but the water was cold and there were lots of tiny ants. The deckchairs were worn out and the towels that were available to us were threadbare, and again full of little ants making it impossible to stay in bed to relax. We were disappointed by the breakfast, which was always the same with bread, an omelette, average fruit and not-so-great pastries, a bottle with a kind of ersatz orange juice that we never drank. .To top it off the last evening when we wanted to watch TV, the remote control had disappeared, we spent at least 1 hour looking for it, finally my husband went to reception and they kindly explained to us that he had took the remote control, without warning us, to put it in another apar**ent because there was a problem with the remote control of this apar**ent and the other people had just arrived. For us this is clearly not 5 star accommodation. Huge disappoin**ent !

This place was amazing! Beautiful place with the vibe of a local spot. Off the busy street and quiet. The whole staff was amazing, really the best group of people I have dealt with in all my travels. They are all so attentive and articulate. Frank, who runs the place, is amazing. He is a driver and a guide. After meeting him I wound up not using the guide I originally intended to, and used Frank. He was a great hang, knew a ton about the area, and was so chill it made my trip. Poy was also amazing with his tuk tuk. Between Frank, Poy, Rina, and a couple others, it literally made my trip to Cambodia AMAZING. I will attach some photos, the Villa is amazing, Cambodia is amazing. Book this place.

This place far exceeded any expectations we could have had. The accommodation was really well designed, beautifully laid out and the service of the highest standard. Nothing was a problem, or too much trouble and everything requested happened exactly as requested, to the minute on time. Don't be put off by the approach to the place, which is down a very narrow alleyway. What awaits you is well worth the trip!

When we booked, we relied on the reviews and comments and I invite you to trust my comments so as not to be disappointed. As soon as we arrive, we are treated to a superb, very warm welcome, we are told that a tuktuk is at our disposal whenever we want. We arrive in the room is there, it was old, more than used, the rooms need to be completely renovated. The bedding is old, the kitchen, living room, sofa everything is more than depreciated. I wasn't even comfortable sitting on the sofa which seemed cramped with tiny cushions and uncomfortable seating. When he informs us that we have a private swimming pool, this is false, it is a large bath, the same goes for the rooftop, it is completely unmaintained, the deckchairs are dried out by the sun, all the paint on the villas is crumbling. flaking, there were cobwebs not removed. One morning we found a dead fish in the fountain in our room. But the worst thing was our bedding, we don't understand there was a smell of sewer as soon as I got into bed and well the mattress had a smell of sewer. We notified reception who sent someone from housekeeping to change the sheets. Except that to top it all off, the housekeeping staff smelled the smell of perspiration and this smell remained for several hours in the room mixed with that of the bed which smelled of sewage. Obviously the smell remained because it was not the sheets but the mattress… It was two horrible nights.. Once again I absolutely do not recommend villa 333. The breakfast lacks taste and the fruit was lukewarm and not fresh, the pastries are clearly far from the taste that we can expect as Westerners and the butter was melted probably left in the sun several minutes before being served to us. To end on a positive note, the transfer to the airport was included and the staff were friendly.

・Quiet and peaceful. ・Only small cars like minicars can enter the road in front. You have to walk or take a tuk-tuk to the main road. ・The free laundry service was very convenient. If you drop off your laundry in the morning, they'll return it to you when you get home at 3 or 4pm. Everything is ironed and neatly folded. ・They provide a tuk-tuk to pick you up and drop you off once a day. They'll come to wherever you want to go or to the restaurant on your way back. It's about 10 minutes from the center, such as the Old Market, but the night breeze was pleasant. ・Having breakfast on the rooftop terrace every day. ・The bathtub was a bit dirty and too big to hold hot water, so it couldn't be used.
