Our stay at Lulu was a memorable one, marked by comfort, luxury, and outstanding service. Clive made us feel at home and made our stay was even better. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction is truly amazing. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a delightful retreat in the heart of the city. It is, without a doubt, a gem that we look forward to visiting again.

Recently we had a holiday in Malta and had the pleasure of staying at B&B De Rohan in the village of Zebbug. The place was very well presented and more than exceeded our expectations. Our room with the ensuite bathroom was spacious and immaculately presented as well as everywhere else on the property. The place is furnished to perfection. The swimming pool area is very well maintained and extremely pleasant to lounge around in the evening with a glass of vino. The owner Lynn makes you feel very much at home. It is like a home away from home. She is a rare gem to find in the hospitality industry and is very knowledgeable about the sites to visit on the island. Her tips were very helpful. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and will certainly stay here again next time we visit Malta.

Firstly, this hotel is pet friendly, that is not made clear anywhere. There were dogs allowed in the dining room! The evening buffet was awful, everything was dried up and tasteless. We spoke to the duty manager and the chief, very little improvement though they did replenish the dishes a little more often. Some nights there was a dessert with peanuts in but nothing to indicate which one it was and they were all together. The amount of food being delivered in said everything. The pool is only open from 10 till 6. The stairs in block 7 where we were had no handrail, thankfully we didn’t have an emergency. The room was lovely, very comfy bed. The bathroom had a shower over the bath, not what you would expect in a four star plus hotel. There are three shuttle busses per day going into Valletta but just one return and it’s not easy to book as it’s always full. There is absolutely nothing near the hotel, the bus stop is quite a walk, uphill so not good for anyone with mobility problems. We spent a fortune on taxis to get anywhere. The hotel has absolutely no atmosphere or ambiance. All in all this was not a 4* plus hotel and we were very disappointed with our stay.

After much deliberation for location and hotel for our stay in Malta we chose 'The Regency Plaza, Sliema*' and after a fantastic week here we know that we chose well. Very happy with the hotel from the reception - happy to help with anything and everything, baggage storage (until our room was ready), our room, the bed, the view, the pool (outdoor one is blooming cold but who cares!), the breakfast choice to most importantly, location! It's important to know that *Sliema is massive and where the ferries go from. This hotel is quite a distance from there (although easily walkable) and is actually situated in Exiles Bay (Bus stop is actually Antik - right outside the hotel) a much quieter and prettier area. We were put on the 5th floor and were so glad as the views were superb and also the outside noise isn't as intense, but the sliding door to the balcony is very effective at cutting out the noise anyway. I loved to sit and watch the world go by early morning and evening - people jogging, walking, taking dogs for a walk or the may electric scooters whizzing by. We had no trouble sleeping nor did we hear any other noise (like music or road traffic etc). There are a couple of nice bars/restaurants opposite the hotel and directly out of the hotel entrances (yes, there are two receptions and entrances) is a pizza place (which you walk through to get in) and a Costa Coffee shop. Our room was a reasonable size and had all the amenities we needed - safe, hairdryer, plenty storage, a nice shower (but you do have to pay extra for coffee making facilities) but the toilet took forever to re-fill after a flush - a tad annoying but nothing I'd really moan about. The shower had some marks on the grouting but overall the room was very clean and the maids came everyday. Bed was comfortable and blackout curtains ensured a good nights sleep. Breakfast was a very, very typical European hotel offering. Cooked sausages, bacon, eggs, beans, tomatoes etc. Plenty choice of break, fruit, meats and cheese. Lovely fresh cooked warm croissants with a choice of jams, chocolate sauce and more. Coffee and juice via machines and waitresses very efficently cleaning up after you as soon as you are done, so no clutter of plates on tables etc. As mention, the top floor swimming pool was excellent but really cold. We found this both bracing and refreshing on the warmer days, plenty of sunloungers, a pool bar and mutliple level seating (as there are two sides to the hotel, you can cross over). We got a 7 day bus travel card for €21 each and we used them to death as it is so simple to get anywhere on the island by bus. They are clean, frequent and convenient. The bus stops are right outside the hotel for either direction. They can get full during 'rush hours' but that's always part of the charm of travel by bus we find! The location of the hotel we found was perfect, not only for bus/ferry travel but for bars and restaurants and even swimming. There is a wide pedestrian boulevard that

We stayed here for a last minute break away for our anniversary. When we got dropped off the location was in a busy street late at night on a Saturday. When we arrived at the hotel we were expected being the last arrival of the day. Check in was very efficient and the reception doubled up as a bar. The room was very spacious and very clean, with a nice big double bed, ac, TV, safe, kettle, fridge and storage. The balcony was street facing which was small but enough for 2 and ideal for the hubby who smokes. The bathroom was again very spacious and very clean we had a nice walk in shower and the water pressure was also very good. We realised in the morning we were in the midst of a town with lots of construction but the noise could not be heard if the windows were shut. Due to this the AC was needed which is the only thing I can fault. Due to this being controlled by a panel on the wall by the entrance but no remote was available to control therefore had a disturbed sleep to change temp or switch on or off.

Starting with the information - we stayed at So City as a young couple (who arent particularly into nightclubs/bars) to see Matla for the first time over a week. I have given this a 'benefit-of-the-doubt' rating due to the hotel being incredibly new. We picked So City Hotel because of the value, it was incredibly well priced. I'd imagine this is a strategy due to it being so new but it was certainly well worth the price we paid. On to the hotel as a whole - I feel this is definitely aimed toward capturing people coming to Malta for some night life. Its positioned so that no more than 10 seconds from leaving the lobby, you can be in a bar, and their are some nice bars surrounding. That said, we werent there for that - but this location also meant that finding an evening meal, or a quick early night drink was incredibly easy. Exploring the island was also very easy from here, Valletta was a very short journey, and as we had opted to rent a car, there was a carpark about 5 minutes walk away (Pengardens) which is reasonably priced for over night parking, and we never struggled for a space. The room was very comfortable, and the mattress was perfect and bedding very soft and comfortable. Our upgraded room was also incredibly spacious. The theming is a nice touch and makes the room a bit more characterful and individual. Staying on the 7th floor, there was minimal noise at night, altough id be concerned if we needed to keep the window open.... The black out curtains were also amazing for keep the room dark for a little bit of extra sleep. Constructive criticism for the room would be: The shower tempurture is difficult - the hottest setting is insanely hot (my other half loves hot showers but this was too much for her also) and it wouldnt go cold, just cooler, it also seemed to get colder through out the shower and you found yourself adjusting. There is not a lot of storage at all for longer stays. This is perhaps a by product of it feeling aimed towards 'nightlifers' who might stop 3 nights or so. I would perhaps ask reception for additional hangers if you have plenty of clothes for a longer stay. The mini fridge, altough useful, is not big enough to put larger water bottles in, which can be annoying. The aircon unit is situated in a place which means it blows directly at the bed. I tried to play with the control but there was no way to adjust it that I could find. Im trying to cool the room, not refridgerate myself. The timer on the aircon also didnt seem to work, so setting it the blow for 30 mins whilst i went to sleep just didnt seem to work. The TV is not a full smartTV which is a shame. Just channels and an internet browser, which are never nice to navigate around.... On to other notes: Breakfast is just what you need. Its not an all out buffett where there is everything you could dream of, but there is more than enough and a few items cycle so you can expect a slightly different breakfast each morning. Excellent property with great location, extremely clean and comfortable, super friendly staff. Teo was extraordinary! He was a true example of excellent hospitality. He made our trip more exciting in Malta by guiding and giving us tips about the city and the attractions to cover in 72 hours. He made sure that everything was arranged for us accordingly. I couldn't thank him enough for the excellent level of service he had rendered. We will surely visit H Hotel on our next holiday and expect that will recommend your hotel to our family and friends.

Upon arrival, We received rose petals and a spread on the bed as when we arrived it was our anniversary. Which was such a lovely touch The hotel staff are all really helpful and attentive, they can’t do enough for you. They answered any questions we had about transport, things to do, shops etc. The food and cocktails at the hotel are all really great however maybe slightly overpriced but this is to be expected. Please note this hotel is a party hotel. We stayed for 4 nights and only 1 of the nights there was not an event happening. It wasn’t a problem for us as we usually spent our days outside of the hotel but when we returned and the pool area is overcrowded it can be a bit annoying. They also had a few problems with the power as many times the music was cut off and we lost power in our rooms. Despite this, I would stay here again as when there are no events on the hotel is a lovely chilled vibe. The rooms were cleaned daily and everything was kept absolutely spotless. We really enjoyed our stay at Bora Bora resort and will more than likely be returning in the future. Thank you.

The hotel is very clean, very hot outdoor swimming pool. The buffet is very repetitive and not terrible. It is better to eat at the map or outside. The hapy hours is not valid for the buffet. Incredible anyway. Otherwise excellent quality price and cheap drinks.

I traveled to Malta alone and chose the Primera Hotel as one of the cheapest options in Malta. In principle, the travel guide says that Valletta is the best place to stay, but I would not agree with this, as it is an hour from St. Paul's Bay to Valletta, an hour to the ferry to Gozo and half an hour to Rabat/Mdina. Excursions such as to the Blue Grotto only go via Valletta and it takes 2 hours by bus. However, you can combine this with a travel route via Valletta or as the last spot before the airport. The hotel was clean, the rooms were more than adequately equipped and for €8 you could book breakfast on site, which was a bit English but had something for everyone. The only thing that could be difficult is being able to eat more than just fruit and bread as a vegan.
