The villa in Sinhajiri, located in the western province of Sigiriya (English name: Green Hut Nature Resort), is accurately said to be a Sri Lankan house, the location is a bit biased, completely rural feeling. The yard is very large, there is a swimming pool inside, a variety of fruit trees such as mangoes, guavas, and other flowers and plants, the internal environment is more beautiful.
The owner and workers of the homestay are very friendly. The room is quite large, but the facilities are relatively simple, there is a general cooling effect of air conditioning, the room and supplies feel basically clean and hygienic, the bed is large and comfortable, bath towels are provided, no quilt or quilt is a thin sheet (This is the least used thing in Sri Lanka), also do not provide toothbrush, toothpaste, comb slippers and other supplies. Breakfast is custom-made, belonging to the British bar, there are omelets, bread, fruit, milk tea, etc. Due to the remote location, I ordered dinner at the hotel on the night of the stay. Fried rice and fried noodles (Sri Lankan noodles seem to be rice noodles) tasted good. The walls of the dining room are decorated with various texts, including Chinese.
Overall, the location of this homestay is a bit biased, no car is not convenient to travel, other than the service, environment, etc. are actually good, very close to nature.

Anonymous UserThe hotel is near Lion Rock, very natural and shady. The staff are attentive. Upon arrival, we were offered a welcome drink of organic mango and papaya juice grown on-site.
The room was smaller than expected. The amenities were basic; there was no refrigerator or television, making the price feel higher than it should have been.
The room was not soundproof, and there were ants, dust, and mosquitoes. If you don't mind these things, you might want to consider other hotels.

A kind family welcomed me. The breakfast I had at the beautiful terrace seat table surrounded by nature was great. I will come again.

The hotel is a bit off the main road, nestled in the jungle. It has a large, beautiful property with a decent restaurant that served tasty food. In the room, there's a concrete bed and concrete countertops, and the outlets are inconveniently located under the nightstands. Maybe the design was cool initially, but now it looks a bit tired.
What I didn't like was the lack of soap (though they brought some when I asked), and the shower gel and shampoo bottles were already half-used. Also, the toilet seat didn't fit properly. The hotel staff, in general, were willing to help with any issues within their power.

Breakfast is a set meal and the amount is too small. The overall nature of the homestay is not a hotel. Not very recommended.
