Very nicely located hostel directly at the beach. Nearly every evening activities are organised with the hostelstayers. It is a party hostel though, so the beds and bathrooms were not the cleanest I’ve had in my time travelling, but overall pretty good experience.

My friends and I recently stayed at Mad Monkey Resort on Koh Rong, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
Despite having a confirmed booking for six people, we were shocked to be told at check-in that there were no rooms available for our group. The staff offered no assistance, showed no willingness to resolve the issue, and simply informed us that they had "nothing" for us. Their lack of effort to provide a solution was incredibly frustrating.
The problems didn’t stop there. The resort lacked even the most basic amenities. There was no drinking water provided, and several essential items were missing from the room, making our stay uncomfortable and inconvenient.
The service was by far the worst I have encountered in Cambodia. The staff’s unprofessional attitude and the resort’s failure to honor a confirmed reservation completely ruined our trip. Do yourself a favor—save your money and stay somewhere that truly values its guests.

I had such a lovely stay here! The beach is beautiful, hostel so close to the pier.
Marcus was such a lovely host, I had such a lovely time during my stay.
Cannot wait to come back! Mad Monkey Koh Rong only place to visit!
