The location is okay, though, in the very center of Chinese stores and restaurants. The sea is not far, but the streets aroumd are over filled with communal waste.
Hotel service was pleasant and nice. Breakfasts were tasty.
It is strange that we didn't have slippers in the room, and the big towels were brought only when we asked.
Still, the whole impression from RIVA Hotel is very good.
I would like to stay there again.

i like staying here. the staff are very helpful and have good english. i asked for sea view room when booking but they gave me other room instead. its okay i have a good time staying here. i order food from room service and the food is so good!! the breakfast food also good. i really recommend to stay here! overall i’m satisfied! 😍

Second time stated there. Location, food, room, cleanliness are all positive like the the first stay. But this time, service is poor from responding to inquiry to checking in process.
1. Book thru Trip.com with checking in time 10am clearly stated in the confirmation email but Hotel’s staff explained bluntly it’s 2pm standard time - 10am is exceptional and availability basis and no guaranty. She said so both in Telegram voice and in person upon check in. Just a bad feeling and mood with this kind of stuff. We actually checked in around 10.45am. It should have been handled more professionally.
2. We clearly requested “connecting room” upon booking but the staff again said “not available” unless we asked first and upon availability. We showed her the request when booking as we have a father on wheelchairs and small kids. She later changed what she said (without apologising) and told us that no refund can be done as one room will be one king bed size (not twins) and on the 1st floor. Again, we got what we asked for, but it’s a bad experience and should have been handled professionally.

I was bitten by an ant while sleeping. An ant came up on the bed. I woke up early in the morning because of ants and asked to change rooms. I was scared. I was worried that ants would get in my luggage. But they said they couldn't change rooms even if bugs came out. I can only change bedsheets." This is the only hotel in the world that says it cannot change rooms where bugs come out. The female counter manager laughed at me in a ridiculous way. I'm angry. The sound of construction right next to the hotel is also very stressful. It's the worst. I ruined my vacation because of ants.
