This hotel is such a great find in Tunis! Not only if the location superb, literally at the entrance to the Medina where shops and food vendors are steps away, but it’s also such a pretty and unique hotel. The decor is gorgeous and the views overlooking the Medina square is great for people watching. Service is great as well! The staff is very helpful. Everything felt very safe as well. I highly recommend this unique stay while in Tunis!

In love with every single detail about this property. I would never mind spend all my life there. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They suggested beautiful places to explore Tunis. We came late and haven’t bought dinner and they offered to us all the kitchen appliances and we cooked dinner. It was a fab experience 💙

The location is beautiful, super clean and well-served, the internet is not good. A serious problem we had was that the establishment offers you tourist transfers and to the airport, which operates you one of the gentlemen working on the site, at last we asked you to take us to the airport and send the child to make the Transfer, when we arrived, we charged 50% more than the recorded, we called the establishment and Lord refused to answer and finally we had to pay what they charged us, which seemed to us very unhappy, so be careful to this Lord.

She went beyond the expectations and exceeded it specially when we shared our food feed back. The room is not bad, the space is large, the windows are large, the breakfast is also very delicious, very rich. The only strange thing is that after returning to the room after breakfast, in the case of not checking out, the towels and bathrobes were all taken away, and it was useless to take another shower. First of all, just arrived in the room housekeeper seems to knock on the wrong door, and then found a strange hair on the bathroom towel. The bathrobe was all threaded. The cocktail made by the pool was not good, far worse than Radisson blu. The technology needed to be improved on the equipment head. The restaurant on the roof was too dark and the menu could not be seen clearly. The restaurant by the pool is good, the food is very good, w is the leading girl who seems to have no idea what she is doing, led us to a table that is not cleaned up, but there are actually many tables empty. Again, the hotel logo is not very clear, and many guests are constantly looking for their own room. Breakfast is OK. Overall, if measured by the standards of the four seasons, this may be the most embarrassing Four Seasons Hotel I have ever stayed in. By the way, the garden can be taken care of more carefully.

The hotel is very new, the equipment is good, the most nice thing is that the hotel staff has no problem in English communication, and the room is automatically upgraded to a suite, giving a big surprise.

We had booked a triple room instead just arrived we received a up grade in small suites ! Very gentle!!
Room with double bed, kitchen room and bed sofa and bathroom in modern style. I felt home.The place is very clean, quiet and comfortable.
We asked for the missing covers for the bed sofa and immediately served us with coats and covers just out of the washing machine.
It is a pity that there is no restaurant that serves for dinner, because there are no fast food or restaurants with local kitchen, but only a room next to the hotel Maia that serves coffee and sandwich/sweet sandwiches.
We went down for breakfast the morning and I must say that the whole thing was delicious, especially fresh bean juice and bread.
We stayed for a night all in quiet ...
Hotel Maia is excellent price and pleasant stay. The only negative side is the lack of availability of dinner in hotels and the distance from the center of the capital for the rest is all excellent!

I liked the location and the staff at this hotel. I disliked the basic rooms, lack of hairdryer, poor amenities and lack of soundproof. I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Its central location was convenient for accessing city amenities. Check-in was efficient, and payment with a card was accepted. Staff was amazing, very kind and professional, always smiling and ready to help. However, the rooms are basic, lacking soundproofing. I could hear water flowing through pipes, noise from breakfast preparation, and experienced a persistent humming from the ceiling in room 101, possibly from the air conditioning. After relocating to room 401, the lack of noise improved, though bring your earplugs. There is a space under your door and you can hear your neighbors closing doors, walking, breathing. The breakfast selection was minimal, consisting mainly of bread, butter, one egg, kids juice, coffee and milk. On the last night, the elevator was out of order, causing disruptive noise until morning. The lack of amenities and noise disturbances affected the overall quality of my stay. Despite the convenient location, clean rooms, the value for money was questionable.

First sisters trip to Tunisia, the overall experience was really good. It makes a difference to where you stay and the people you interact with. People in Tunis are really nice, polite and helpful. Our First experience was with Dar El Jeld. We felt so welcomed by the staff. I would like to personally thank few of the staff. Emily for being really accommodating, always has a smile on her face, very helpful and informative. Adul Kadir, Firouz and Yousuf, the security guys, they helped us when we needed to go anywhere, at times they went with us so we did not get lost and Arslan, he was the driver for the hotel. He went out of his way to accommodate to our needs. Made the children comfortable to a point they considered him family and referred to Dar El Jeld as home. Lastly the receptionist in the spa (forgot her name) she was amazing. They are all truely an asset to the hotel. I will definitely recommend this place. In the heart of Madina with the market right next to the hotel. We felt very safe at all times. Rooms are very nice and spacious, very clean, scenic view from rooftop. You just can't go wrong with this hotel. I will definitely stay there again.
