The cookies and breakfast were good. Front desk staff could use some hospitality training. Was quite rude to the guest next to me yelling loudly that their credit card was declined and she couldn’t accept the company card on file. Tended to us, but definitely not with a smile at any time during our stay. There was no shampoo in our room and I didn’t bring any because I knew there would be hotel shampoo. When I called for some a maintenance person brought some for the empty dispenser but didn’t install it correctly so no shampoo came out. Day two, no room servicing so I called again for shampoo to be fixed….just wanted clean hair, and was told that maintenance would come. No maintenance. Called again a few hours later and was told Maintenance would come. You guessed it, Nope!
First morning we were woken up at 6:30am for a fire alarm. After it was determined that it was a false alarm 45 min later, we returned to our room and tried to do work only to be interrupted by fire alarms every 5-10 minutes for short periods of time. A call to rooms letting people know they needed to test the system would have been nice vs us questioning if it was real or not every time.
