The staff were very friendly and the location in town is good. But the hotel itself needs some major renovations. They've started doing that but they really shouldn't be booking the 400 level rooms which are in a separate wing of the hotel. The rooms in the main part are the ones pictured ont the website so it looks updated. But the 400 level rooms (which we were booked in) are in bad state. Our mattress was so old it was yellow and beige in colour and it felt as though we were basically sleeping on the box spring for two nights. My husband and I both awoke with aches and pains both mornings and I even had bruises on my legs from the hardness of the side of the mattress. The room also had a foul musty odor and the whole place just fellt like a dump. What was supposed to be a fun weekend away for our 5th anniversary turned into a let donw due to the state of our accomodations.
