Fairfield Inn & Suites Barrie

Great hotel. Well maintained. Not much else to say.

The hotel needs a lot of maintenance. The lock system for door of the rooms were changed but they left the holes and only patched it with tape. The bathroom had also holes and the lights in the hallway looked like they had been punched. The beds were really uncomfortable, no support what so ever un less you moved to then other extreme of the bed (near the wall and it was a little better but not great) I do not recommend this hotel

Thank you so much for making my stay at the Fairfield Barrie so enjoyable. I am an automotive tech and was in town for the week for lab scope and advanced diagnostic training. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and did an amazing job. It was so nice to come back to a clean and refreshed hotel room each evening. The continental breakfast was delicious and had just enough items to choose from to cater to a variety of breakfast tastes, but not so much that it seemed wasteful. I'm a scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, bagel, fruit and juice kind of breakfast guy with the occasional waffle or oatmeal day thrown in to mix it up, so your continental breakfast hits the spot every morning before leaving for training. I will be back in the area again for more training in the future and plan to book my hotel here again. Thank you!!!

Reasonable price and comes with breakfast. Outdated but well maintained.

The pool water did not look safe for swimming. The pool deck and surrounding area very dirty. Room was dirty, hairs all over, food left in the mini fridge, random food bits around the beds. The faucet in the tub was completely broken.

Pool was closed which was unfortunate.
