I stayed here many times before and used to love it.
The breakfast used to be great because here i could get a wide variety of stuff without pork, however this time my breakfast was just like staying in many hotels almost everything is filled with pork which i don't eat.. I know pork is cheaper, but don't expect satisfied guests when it comes to breakfast. I wished they had jacuzzi for late night relaxing with ur partner instead of only in certain rooms.
My refrigerator was rusted terribly on one whole side, front door was not closing properly and the tiles in the bathroom weren't cleaned properly, the grout was very dirty as if they only mop the floor, floor was also missing a tile. Not too satisfied this time and it's pitty cause I loved staying here. It is a beautiful hotel kind of big so we had to walk from B rooms to get breakfast and that was a distance. Front desk staff were friendly that i have no complains about. Overall i would give them a 7. Not sure if this is the difference in using booking or trip, cause while using booking things were different. Just saying.

Everything was great except for the misleading ******* ad. The room was up a very steep mountain that took us over 5 minutes via shuttle and the room smelled horrible. Had to pay for an upgraded room closer to the beach and pools. The hotel staff was rude and not very helpful. The only staff member that was helpful was the shuttle bus driver

I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews however I was pleasantly surprised around every corner of this vacation. The resort is stunning and in a great location. Taxi from the airport was easy and cost about 20 bucks. The dining options are great and the food far exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, beds comfortable and kitchen well appointed. The staff was friendly, not falling over themselves to serve you but once engaged, extremely accommodating. Bartender ziggy was great, Elvis at the beach was pleasant and attentive and Jamal from the steakhouse was the best! We took a snorkeling tour and Swaney our captain was fantastic. I traveled with two 16 year olds and they LOVED everything about Simpson Bay. We will definitely return in the future.

Location was great- walking distance to restaurants/town but it is A LOT of walking and up/down hill. I'm used to walking so i didn't mind. Check in process was a bit slow but overall staff were nice and helpful. We were in the deluxe suite and everything as well equipped and maintained.

Resort is located on a large hill restaurants bars shops all located near beach. A long hard walk home up hill not for anybody with limited mobility. But resort has a shuttle system

We’ve been coming to SBR for over 15 years and I never tire of the place. Maintenance is ongoing - someone is always painting something. We have a unit “up the hill” with a view to die for. I swear that on a clear day, we can see Miami. We like the hillside although we have stayed in the Villas building in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma and also one year when we brought our son and his family. Everything is always clean and we have complete service for 4. There are pots and pans - enough to cook any meal. Our room is comfortably air conditioned with ceiling fans to move the cooled air.

The rooms at villas are nice and very clean 👍 the beach and service at the beach is great but food at this resort restaurants is really needs improvement. There is no Entertainment at all so be ready to be bored at night. Gym on payment even for hotel guests and closed on Sunday. The front desk needs more help there was only one !! person working at our check in. The resort doesn’t have a friendly and welcoming feelings.
